So Ive played 15 SnG's and made money in 7 of em, thats not too bad, but could be better. These are my SNG results on FT so far.... Ive played some ring games to try and get more bonus points So I havent taken a tourney down yet, but Ive got my original 50 bucks up to around 75. Im currently playing in the $3+.30 KO double stack tourneys there... I feel pretty comfortable playing these, I know its a little bit out of my bankroll, put I seem to be holding my own in them. I get annoyed playing the $1 and $2 tourneys, so many idiots it get frustrating. Im sure you guys understand what I mean!!
Haha so Im not broke yet, and my is moving up instead of down, so thats good!!

Today is my third day playing in Full Tilt, and as Ive been posting this message, Im currently in a $3+.30 KO tourney, 90 entries, Im currently sitting 10 of 38 with 10,170 chips... top 9 make coin... Ill letcha know how I do... I think Ima take it down!! wish me luck!!
If you feel more comfortable playing 3$ SNG's instead of 1$ and you do better at them as well, then keep playing them. But take care of your Bankroll, if you start losing money better change to lower SNG's and dont move to fast on higher buyins, wait until you have a stable Bankroll (200-300$) and then start thinking about moving to the next level, like 4-5$.

I agree with shokaku, the SNG rake is very high at FTP, 1$ is not even worth playing.

Really, I find single table tourneys are too tedious, and way too slow. the MTTs go quicker, or so it seems to me and offer a higher RoI. But thank you kindly for your words of advice!

Thanks man, I agree BRM is key! I dont plan on going up untill I break 250-300. Swings can be a brutal thing!!

Still rawking the tourny... got a wicked beat...my queens vs 8's lost a fair chunk of my stack there, I have 6k in chips and im in 17 of 18th... gotta buckle down and double a time or two

But very nice job Mr I like those MTTs 45 players top9 paid, saw them on stars (you play on FT right?) I dont like the knock-outs though.

Oh I know Mrs Variance, she can be a total beyotch sometimes!! I like the knockout because it gives you a chance to get your buy in back should you not place.... or at least recoupe some of your buy in...

Thanks yo... so I just finished another 90 person $3+.30 Ko tourney, was in first going into heads up, had the guy all in... he had k8, I had a8hearts, he had diamonds... two diamonds on the flop, i start squirming in my chair, and the turn killed me... haha oh well another second place finish 48.33
so now the BR is at 157.66 thanks again BRM for the start, and all you guys for your support!!

well done xchipchumpx sounds like your doing great.. A little out of your BRM but still holding your own. Looks like you have a good spin on the multy table tourny, maybe you can share some tips with us (well me really) im not to good when it comes to 90+ people i tend to keep to sng's and ring games as i get distracted and norm go all in at the worst time with marginal hands ( im really poor at big games) lol Still keep up the good work and post you wins here and we can see how good you are doing...... wp

I think Im okay to keep playing in the $3 buy ins...just need to keep playing hard. I usually only play one tourney at a time. Personally, I find I lose my concentration if I have too many tables rocking.
As far as tips, dont play junk. I steal a pot every once and awhile, but not often. Good cards = good hands!! Patience is key, as the tourneys usually run about 2hrs give or take...even though I didnt manage to win one today, I still think of myself as a winner!!

Great story so far Hope you can build it more up I guess in knock-out mtts people play average much more agressiv right? I wud stick with the $3 ones for now cos i think they r very fishy, when u hit $500 maybe try the $5 ones.
You're doing very well, I tried those $3... but never got lucky. Oh well maybe I was playing too tight but anyway... it's not where I like or feel comfortable to play. But good luck to you it's a pretty nice story you put up there
