40 - 50 people and only 4-5 hours? I would defenitly make it a turbo blind structure with a buy in of let's say 10€ and no re-buys allowed. In the money I would say top 8 get paid.

Yeah, it seems to be a good structure. Its great to organize some tournaments (but be careful, its not legal i think, is it?)

man thats a huge home tournament,good luck organising everything.how many chips ypu got.think 15 min blinds best then.download a good tourney directer and use your computer.

I don't think it is legal in denmark no. Since they take more than 60% taxes on "gambling winnings" I don't think they will allow such a big tournament with buy in without earning some from it.
I would indeed use some tournament software to manage the blinds and everything. Still I think 4-5 hours with a field of 40-50 players is way to short.
