Bluffing sometimes can be just as good as having the Nuts, or should I say, bluffing to represent you have the nuts... wait I have the nuts but I want you to think that I am bluffing!
Anything goes, bluff to represent more, bluff to represent less...

Sometimes I play AKs so hard that I think my opponents put me on high pocket's. Besides that I often bluf scarecards like an A pop's up turn and from blinds I often bluff small cards that pair the board, so I pretend I got a small set.

I´m having a bit of a problem with AKs. Don´t know why but I´m losing many hands. Other than that, I try to bluff alot, making the opponent think I´m not good and trying to really bluff, then I have them where I want. Of course, occasionaly a tiny bluff to steal the blinds never harmed anyone.

turbo man, I´m beginning to think that sometimes AK should be played like 76. I might be going out of my mind here, but something funny about the Big Slick that I can´t figure out what is it!

Depends in what mood and bad hand or good hand streak i am. If all the constelations are right when i raise nobody calls, dont even think about it. When luck is not on my side, I mean when i get caught by some fish, then it turns out to long trust building campaign to get players trust me again.
Registered for UB yesterday and waiting my free bankroll there, so im playing playmoney tables, game is Limit Stud Hi/Lo (8`s or better), 10-20, after 20 minutes play I can bluff all i want noone calls, when i sat at the table they all played very loose and calling most of the bets.
As for A K hand. That was my flaw which i learned from book. I played it to softly and always got too many callers, opening doors to fishes allowing them to see the flop. Play them hard dont let them see flop at all. Maybe you wont get big pot first or second time but when someone calls you can expect from him strong hand most of the time, and if that hand is a A Q and A flops youre gonna make your big pot anyway and all those low cards that fall on the table are irrelevant.
Predobar
I just cant keep them short
------------ Sorry but heres one example. I checked or called prior to 6th street. This is the 7th or 8th hand ive played at the table. Its horSe. Its playmoney but i think i would played it the same, after all its limit game. 6th street: VannHammer: -- -- 4d 2h 4c 9c lucy1947: -- -- 2s 9h Ah 9d Predobar: Qd Tc 7s Ts 3c 4s search30: -- -- Jd 3h 9s Ks Mama918125: -- -- 8s 6c 5c 2c Ldog: -- -- 4h 5s 7h Qc lucy1947 checks. Predobar bets 20. search30 calls. Mama918125 calls. Ldog folds. VannHammer folds. lucy1947 calls. 7th street: lucy1947: -- -- 2s 9h Ah 9d -- Predobar: Qd Tc 7s Ts 3c 4s Ac search30: -- -- Jd 3h 9s Ks -- Mama918125: -- -- 8s 6c 5c 2c -- lucy1947 checks. Predobar bets 20. search30 calls. Mama918125 raises to 40. lucy1947 folds. Predobar re-raises to 60. search30 folds. Mama918125 folds. Predobar is returned 20 (uncalled). Hand #50378955-708 Summary: No rake is taken for this hand. Predobar wins 277.

i like the bluff some times a bit to much... which is kind of my downfall.... ill have a medium have bluff it get re-raised and depending on the re-raise or whats on teh board i get re-bluffed right out of th pot some times :S
my "move" as my friends call it.. is the dealer bluff lol... when your on the button every1 folds to you make a nice sized raise to scare off the blinds and steal them... this works well for me because if you do it a couple times in the tournament.. get caught.. then switch up your style.. call your shitty hands and they will think i have something good and tryin to trap them... and raise your good ones so they think your stealing again and call you.. .

That´s a very good point. It´s very important, I believe, to use the image you create in a table for your own benefit. Although sometimes you run into one or two that read through it, most of the times it works like a charm!

yea it really helps.. like rocky when he swtiched to south paw lol.. but its definatly a good tool to use, and its pretty much safe... if you dont get any callers with the best hand oh well.. and your only callin the medium one with a chance to steal with scare cards on the table so its good as long as your poised and know when they have you beat and fold the bluff before your pot committed and in a tough spot!
at low limits where i play i am trying don't bluff at all i can bet something with no hand only when i see that he can fold his cards but at high limits you don't win much without bluff...

Well i used to be very agresive but now I calmed down a bit especially on cash tables since i lost pretty much sometimes but in tournaments and mostly in later parts of toruneys i still use to bluff a lot and putting pressure on ppl

w4444x i think thats the best time to bluff is preflop in good position, or any other times an oppertunity presents itself in the later part of tournaments because thats when the blinds are a big part of the game, plus any antes that are in effect so stealing those help out alot!

The situation in which I lost the most amount of money in online poker, I would have to admit, is bluffing. I´ve learned my lesson, but in the past I would bluff all the way to showdown! What a fool I was!

I agree with 4444. You have to bluff when the table is good for it. It's never good to bluff all the time. I rarely bluff but when I do I can say that I almost make it. Another type of bluff is the semi-bluff I use it much more than an usual bluff beacuse if you hit then the money rolls in .

Of course, I know this! I said that in the PAST I use to make these mistakes. Nowadays fortunately everything is under control. But thanks for the hints anyway.
