That the budget airline Ryanair have plans for an in-flight online gambling system is nothing new. Already back in 2005, Michael O'Leary, chief executive at Ryanair had these kinds of ideas. It would be great to have to "pay" the plane trip with generated rake! LOL Once i went to Thailand in a nine hour travel... if Ryanair had already this system by that time, i think i would prefer to flight with them. It seems like a pretty good way to spent time up there!

Ryanair are THE most shocking airline ever, I was once diverted by them flying out of Barcelona to a closed airport in France and left to rot for 9 hours till a coach turned up to take us back to spain, which took even longer, to another airport to get a flight back into london.

thats alot rake to make in a couple of hours. at end the flight could cost you $20.000 poker is booming and the idea sounds not that bad to pastime with poker !

Gotta be a money making scam, if its part of in flight entertainment then you will be playing against a computor not other players.(clever software designed by clever people devised to elieviate burden of thoose with too much money) If it was a genuine gesture in the intrests of customer satisfaction they would provide a internet connection( for a fee) on board so everyone could choose thier prefferd online past time. Next they'll be installing fruit machines, lap dancers and strippers hmmmmm theres a thought, pilot anouncing "GOING DOWN ~ GOING DOWN" and everyone on board cheering, that would be different. lol

Lol i think that all ideas are good to promote poker, but please, this one is a little bit ridiculous. Playing legal poker in travels of plane is a little bit odd. Specially small time travels like ryanair. But I think this idea will not be a reality!
lol i must remember the words of a teacher : the sillier the better for the people =) i mean during the flight you can relax and if you need poker soo much you should better let you heal =) because if its so necesary its more than only a hobbi =) but i think rhianair is often making stupid offers

Not a free flight then is it?? Either way it costs the ticket fee, with a possable win or lose extra. What if I dont rake enough, they fly me back costing them more?? Crazy. I just want a comfy seat on my way to vegas. Stupid idea if you ask me, whos gonna deal with the guy who just lost his life savings on his way home from working away for 6 months.
