i play atm 5c-10c tables and do not buy in to the max and have build my roll up to $60 , can i keep playing these levels on my roll with out buying to the max ?
thank you for time Big Smile

The 20 buy in rule is more for players that rely on their bankroll. If you should lose your 60 bucks, you can simply take another no deposit bonus. And you are back in business.

But if your room offers something like NL4 or NL5. Play that.

with bankrolls you have to be carefull not to over play your bankroll and do you currently have $60? or your aming for it? Question

You will have to enter in tables with 20 big blinds, so with 2$. And to go to the higer limit, 10/ 20 cent you should have at least 120$, and enter in the tables with 4 $! Doing it before getting to that value is not respecting the bankrollmanagements, so the risks of losing are higher!

I thought for a good bankroll management the min buy-ins were 30..?!

For NL FullRing the minimum is 20BI recomended 25BI. You should play the upper level only when you have 25BI of that level and return to the lower if you reach 20BI or lower.

e.g.: You are playing NL5 and just raised your BR to $250, now you can play NL10, but if your BR drops to $200 you should return to NL5 and build it to $250 again.

From NL25 or higher you can increase your minimum limit. Some recommend 5BI increase for each level. It would be a minimum of 25BI for NL25, 30BI for NL50, etc... But the only advantage of this rule is to have a margin of stability, going up and down a level constantly can have a negative psychological effect.

If you play NL shorthanded you should also tighten a bit your minimum number of BIs, use 25/30 instead of 20 in lower limits.
