no program gunna help you,yhe power of the mind will get you there everytime.good to track stats but what about winning,if you aint winning you losing.
I use pokertracker 3 and personally, I couldn't play without it anymore. I play 10 and 20 NL and many players there are just playing the same game day after day after day, when you have stats on a player with who you have played 500+ hands, it's very usefull to have his stats next to him while playing. off course it doesn't help all the time.

Those programs can be useful if you know how to use them. No doubt about it. But they can also help you getting busted from a poker room, because the use of such software, is forbidden. The software listed gives an unfair advantage.
The only thing legal is stats trackers, like Hold'em Manager,Poker Tracker, Poker Office, etc... but no one of those was listed on the original post.

They are usefull, but just in some points. I only use an online poker odds calculator (and its not all the time i play) when i play on final tables, or high ring. The other software, such as international ranking of players, i dont use, because i think each player shows his value at the table, and sometimes its better not to know our oponents historic achievements...

what calculator do you use? and is it legal to use at any pokersite?? just curious because I might be looking for one to, I think it might be an easy tool while multitabling.
Posted by palfco: poker wingman is a good one to try it has a free version which does actually work on real money tables.
is it legal to use? I know there are many like hold'm hawk and stuff that are not allowed, and if you do your account gets blocked and you can kiss your money goodbey and that I want to avoid .
Don't have a idea....... have never played with that kind of stuff and i think it's no good. keep up the work on your own to be the best poker player out there

Strangely the players at the very highest limits often don't use them, and while there are good reasons for this anomaly, i feel the use a of tracker is essential for the serious player.
I have done a lot of research into trackers and tried a few myself.
The four market leaders and the only ones I'd recommend are Poker Tracker, Poker Office, Holdem manager and Poker Edge.
Poker Tracker and Holdem Manager both offer free trials. The other two may have free trials too - you'll have to check. So try them both and see for yourself.
I've tried them all bar Poker Office and opted to buy Holdem Manager - which I though was the best for my needs.
As for bit torrenting a free program. I tried this and it really isn't a viable long term option. The poker sites get updated so often and for most updates your tracker needs an update too.
If you buy a program the update is done within 24 hrs and all you experience is a short inconvenience. With a robbed version then you're gonna have to wait ages for the new update to become available and then re-rob it.
You spend more time searching for torrents than you do playing so try a load for free and then buy your favorite. At around $60 the're a bargain.
Incidentally Poker Edge is illegal at most sites but if used correctly it is undetectable by the poker sites. i tried it for 3 months for free by signing up to a site via thier website. It is a good program but found that overall it was no better than Holdem Manager ( the program I have settled with ) and it requires a regular monthly subscription.

I don't think any program can help you. Because they are only programs and work based on programming commands. They have limited knowledge. Not helpful in my opinion.

Dark have you ever used a tracker - preferably one of the four I mention. They can be used for many different things.
Finding leaks in your play, tracking you progress/winnings, keeping a "real time" track off your opponents tendencies, as well as any history of any past meetings.
If you're muti tabling then there is no substitute for a tracker. How are you going to put your opponent on an accurate hand range when you have no/little idea of how they play.
Knowing how often they raise pre flop, limp/call, 3-bet, C-bet, ect is vital info on knowing how to play optimal poker against each individual player.

calculators and such are not helpfull at all only if you are a begginer, the math you only need to know thr rule of 4 and the rule of two or read a book like the litle grenn book of poker, will help you much much more.
holdem manager in multi tabling is a must have. and impossible not to work with if you are MT.

i would assume so as they offer the pro version free if you make a deposit at one of the sites that support it
