Hey guys, Well, I am not a huge user of the bankroll mob forum. There are many poker forums out there, and unfortunately you can't be active on all of them. However, I think this story I have too tell is relevant too this forum. One of your members, "Mcsnakey675", asked me on a different forum, one which I am active on, for $10 on pokerstars so he could clear a $50 deposit bonus of which he only needed 9 fpps too clear, and that he would send me $25 once he had done this. This forum was **link removed**
Well, I being your naiive, trusting young man, agreed too do this. Only he ran off with my money. I then googled his pokerstars username "settle717" too find out more about this jerk. It turns out he had tried this scam on you guys, a couple months earlier. Here is the thread he posted on here: http://www.bankrollmob.com/forum.asp?mode=thread&id...
I posted this thread not for sympathy, but too issue a warning too you guys who are just as trusting as me not too deal with this douchebag. I would also like too see him banned from bankrollmob permanently.
Thank you for reading this, Jman227
P.S. (If you guys don't believe me, I have evidence confirming his guilt, but I will only post it if you guys want proof)

I've removed one of your links as you can't link to that site in here
I don't think proof is necessary (for me anyway, don't know about any of the other members in here), the user is already on a temporary ban as we got tired of all his begging, but with this new information, he will need to be very careful in the future if he doesn't want to be banned forever.
Hopefully your story will teach other people not to loan out money to those begging on forums.

Yeah I guess greed clouded my mind and the thought of making a quick profit numbed my senses. There were a lot of holes in his story that were easy too trace if I had been paying attention. It was very stupid of me too allow myself too get scammed. I just want him banned is all.

jman227 I am sorry this happened to you, but you let it. Let this be a leason learned and be happy it only cost you $10. IN the future if "making a quick profit" is what you are looking for, there are a few good sites that you can stake people on, track em, make comments etc and earn some fair money. I belong to one,( cant post the name here), and my buddy who has been doing this for 2 years has made over 100k. Good luck to you. O and btw Welcome to BRM

You shouldnt borrow money to people you dont know, specially to people that you do not know. But at leat it was only 10 dollars. One thing i dont understand is why he is only temporarily banned and not permanently. People like this in this forum are dangerous, dont you think?
