If you do a little research into the major banking cartels.. you will quickly realize that the 'money' you have lost doesn't carry the value it is 'supposed to' anyways... I actually have a very hard time associating 'value' with 'paper / digital money' ... I'm more of a Gold standard man myself.. Loves me gold.
