we all have had bad beats - but also there are hands we are just plain shocked to see...for eg...
dealt and a-3 suited - 3 people left in hand - i limp in hoping for a good flop....flop comes 2-4-5 rainbow....great flop.....i raise - gut beside me re-raises -..i'm thinking trips or two pair...i go all in knowing I have the best hand.....
he turns over a 3-6 for a six high st8 to beat my 5 high....what are the chances....slim i know....

the worst i had: i'm the big blind, got 95, no one raise. only two players pay the blind. flop 9 5 5. GREAT!! i raise a very high bet! One folds, the other one raise all in. He has AK. The turn and the river gets two other Kings. He beats me with a higher full house. I lost a big oportunity to win about 100$.

very unlucky. happened with me many times, so always raise if you have a decent hand, that would decrease badbeats significantly unless you are playing with donks . a miniraise would have made that guy fold his 3-6. better be safe than sorry

Thats Poker Baby, at least Scotty would say that... But to be honest, I got used to it and I am not sure anymore , how to comment such threads . Lets say Scotty is right.

Heres a few recent. A8s of hearts. Flop comes A89 with 1 heart and 2 crosses. Having 2 pairs I raise about whole pot.1 leaves, other pays. Turn brings 2nd heart. I bet around a pot and he raises all-in with much smaller stack. I call it having 2 pair and flush draw. Cards turn and i cant remember what he exactly has.. K3s or something of crosses. No pair, just flush draw. Ofcourse you know whos flush is gonna hit river. I hate it when they call turn with flush draw and nothing else oversized all-in bet and hit the river
Another one. I raise 3xBB with AQo near midposition or something. 2 calls if i remember correct.. think it was a button and BB. so flop comes 235 with 2 crosses. Im certain that button has nothing but in case he has 77-TT or something like that he would certainly raise or at least call.. BB i dunno about. So i bet about 3/4 pot there thinking i might be able to steal it or hit A, Q or 4 if someone calls. Ofcourse theres flush draw so its a bit foolish. Anyway after my bet button calls and BB folds. Im a bit nervous for he holding overcards. But turn brings me 4 so its straight A2345 and no flush. For it being flush draw available i bet whole pot and i get called.. now im thinking holy s**t.. it cant be 6 since he called my 3xBB preflop bet. Unless he limped A6s or something. Well at river he doesnt have whole pot of stack left so only option i think is bet, since he would call anyway i assume. Well i bet and he does call. He turns T6s with wrong color. Damn!
Two days ago I got dealt AKs so I raise to 4bb's, an other player (playing 25/12) calls. flops comes AAK I bet half pot he raises I re-raise, he goes all in (both full stack) I instant call. He showes A3o. turn is a 6 the river K We split pot and I get stuck paying 1,8$ rake .

You must be running like a god if you complain about a split pot.

The more you play the more you relise there are some idiots out there and you will normally always have at least one at your table..... I got re-raised all in with some d**k with 44 when i raised with KK utg Can you belive it the flop come Q 8 4.... No K so out i go......again.. Some poeple just play sick poker...lol
But he also limped with that 63 ? I lost with flop straights very often (vs runer runer fuls flushes etc) I know that this is sick and I understand u, but thats poker. If he limped with 63 probably he is a donk and in long run u would beat him
