here is a article i found on a site...... tell me what you think please..
Have you ever thought, how do professional poker players make so much money playing poker? Here is how, they all have a secret "weapon" that they keep to there self's. You won't find this in any poker theory book or any website giving out poker tips that they have wrote. So I'm going to tell you what it is. 10-5 offsuit!
All pro-poker players know this is the best hand in poker, why you may ask? With this hand you have the ability to hit all straights, A-2-3-4-5 or 3-4-5-6-7 or 6-7-8-9-10 even 10-J-Q-K-A, any straight you can think of contains either a 5 or a 10. So you now you can see some of the reasons Pro's play this hand, but there's more. You might not know this, but you can hit 2 pair with 10-5, if a 10 and a 2 comes there you go 2 pair.
Another thing Amateur poker players don't know is, with 10-5 you have twice as many chances of hitting trips than you would if you had, say pocket Kings. With Kings you only have the chance of hitting Trip Kings. Where as 10-5 has twice as many chances of hitting Trips. As you can hit Trip 5's or Trip 10's.
So now you see the benifits of playing 10-5. Now imagine all that power you have with 10-5, now unsuited. You have all the power 10-5 has but now twice as many chances at hitting a flush, making 10-5 unsuited almost unbeatable.

Nice.
The first part, all straights contain either a T or a 5 is right. The rest is just plain rubbish. And the "power" of a 5 high flush, with 4 flushcards on the board, is not that high.
Sorry, but this article is b******t and I've never seen a pro winning a big pot with 105o, or playing that hand regulary. It can hit all straights, wow, but what about the odds? open-end, flop: 32%, turn:16% and gutshot, flop: 18, turn: 8%. And what if someone holds a higher straight or even a flush? 105o is beatable in many ways, I dont understand how you can call it the best hand............
If you believe in this article, you probably didnt understand the basics in poker and I think the autor of that article just wants to keep the donks alive..

lol, thats funny . looks like he's delusional This guy is just awesome, he got everything screwed up. just wonder whom does he consider poker pros and amateurs. I think he'll be better as a salesman than poker player, lol
I think its obvious this article was just satirical, no-one could believe that re 10/5 o, but then again... The reason you see all these pros playing such crummy hands is completely context sensitive. And edit related, obviously! I mean we have all done well with AK, QQ etc. but who has the nuts to seek the nuts with less than the nuts - In a nutshell - The pros when they have evaluated the situation in a - wait for it - Yes, a professional way....

Lol this article is funny. What a ridiculous explanation to the way donkeys play! Of course 10 5 is a way better hand than AK or even AA! lOL Really, i think that 10 5 is a hand that sometimes is useful but never as it is said on the article!

I 'get it' - it's just not funny. It's lame. Like most ipoker players. Some of you are really thick though, thinking it was a proper, serious article. get a life ...
