you are playing MTT, about 30 min have passed you are average stacked. Then your table changes, your new table has players you have never played with before. You are utg and are dealt A j , you call and one player in mid position, 2 player in late call, bb checks. 3 are average stacked, 1 is large stacked Flop shows 2 q 6 , now what should you do? allin bet min Bet >half pot Check

always check to make other raise first or bet min to make more caller so the pot get bigger, if all in i think there's no caller or all fold then win with small pot..

utg i instant check this and then call the (possible) bet. if all check i make the 50-60% bet on the turn, if someone bet the turn i call or raise depending on the card if you minbet this on the flop or turn only a donk wouldnt smell the made-hand.

Check, and hope the others raise. Then bluff them if they raised. By deciding for long time, and call it late. They might think you dont have anything and raise even more. Now go all in!

Against a calling station bet > 1/2pot. Against a maniac bet weak. You will have an easy allin against them. Against a weaktight player bet, he will never put more $$ on the pot, so why will you give him free cards? If he calls/raise shove him, he may have 2nd nut flush or a set drawing to a full house.
Against an aggressive one: check-raise all the time.
check of course But if you have raised every hand before the last hour pre and post flop! I should bet this one 2 if you have tight image definetely check

Everybody who thinks always betting the minimum "to get more callers" is a good strategy is a fish ... many players do this and its very easy to know that they have a monster hand.
Of course you shouldnt be afraid of ALL min raises but when you know that a player used to do the min raise with monsters its easy to get away.
But in the end VARIETY wins , i say bet at lest half the pot about 80 % of the time and play tricky (check/min bet) 20 % of the other times .
With so many limpers its a good time to check here as it would be more than likely someone else has hit this flop in some way and you are the player no-one knows so a check/raise could pay dividends As you say you are only 30 mins in the blinds will still be quite small so a big bet would scare most off If you had raised pre flop i would be putting in a cb of about 1/3-1/2 pot

The best thing to do,if it is really nuts (sometimes people think they have nuts and they dont), is to check. Let others bet and raise, if the victory is yours for sure, you just have to let your oponents make the bets they want. If you bet and you put pressure on them, perhaps they can imagine what you have and fold, leaving you with a smaller pot.

Only check is good here, because we want to get as much money as possible into the pot and if we raise/bet here, the risk is very high to see everyone folding.

There are many donks that minbets utg on every flops just because they want to see a cheap turn when they dont have anything, so I would say 60% of the minibets don't have a made hand.
With a minibet you will probably get more callers in general than betting half pot - but you dont get very well paid on that kind of play. I voted on half pot - but if everyone just limped in I would bet pot in 90% of the times.
Can I point out that whilst you have flopped the nuts it is still possible to lose with this hand so anyone who says shove all in wants hitting over the head with a very sharp object

OK, yesterday i flop the nuts, KJ to flop AQ10, all is well Im thinking got cha as he raises , both all in before turn. Then come A 7, vilian shows 10 10. So what do you do when you flop the nuts, 9/10 lose LOL, joking it depends on the table and position, play normall ish, if you would normally bet out do so etc, I say get you chips in as soon as you can.(depending) So take a little lesson from me floping the nuts does not mean you win the hand, if you check check blar blar you open yourself up to a BB.
