Liverpool have actually never won the "Premiership", the top league in the country yes but, I agree with you, should they not get so many draws this year they'll be definitely in with a chance!
That is if Owen doesn't have a blinder of a season and get the golden boot for utd

It's gonna be hard to replace ronaldo for Manchester.. I don't like their incoming transfers; in my opinion Michael Owen is not the kind of player anymore you win the championship with..
so I guess I'm putting my money on Chelsea this season

Hey Joe, that is a very good point, the only team to win it outside the big 4 is Blackburn and they were the team that actually came 4th the season before. Did you know, that there are only 7 teams in the premeirship that have actually been in it from the word go, all the other 13 teams have been relegated or have come up from the league below

I bet on Man United. They lost Ronaldo but they are still a great team, like the name says, very united, and that will work good for them. Some can say Ronaldo was the head of the team, but i dont think so. Eventhough he was the guy with more goals, and the principal figure of MU offensive, other past collegues can manage to win without needing him. Its a team with lots of players with more than 3 years "in the house" and that counts a lot. They are very used to play with each other and that's one of the most important things in one team. "You can have all the stars but that doesnt mean you have a good team" - many said this about Galactic team Real Madrid a couple of years ago; we shall not forget it...

Man u have lost Ronaldo to madrid, its a huge loss for them. they have brought owen, but given his age and injury prone status i don't think he'll provide even half of goals ronaldo would have. I think liverpool will win the title this year

Yes, watch and see. I think Owen will not score more than 10-15 goals at most. His best years are in the past. I think Manchester United will finish 2nd or 3rd in new season. This year could be Chelsea's.
ofc ManU win again the PL ... chelsea, liverpool and arsenal havnt a good coach like MANU .ferguson is the GODFATHER... he rules the english football...
but it could be a hard time for manu without ronaldo and tevez..so im very nervous about that..^^

IMO it will be a fight between Liverpool and Chelsea; United is always a good and experienced team but I think this season it will be weaker than the previous one

Where the winner finished the previous season and has gone on to win the next season is as follows:
1st - 7 times, 2nd - 8 times, 3rd - 2 times and 4th - once.
2008/09 finish:
1st. Manchester United 2nd. Liverpool 3rd. Chelsea 4th. Arsenal
Now I am a Manchester United supporter, but I believe this could be Liverpools year, so I am going with them.
Will create poll tomorrow, so check back then
You are Manchester United supporter and think that Looserpoll will win?!?!Damnnnnnnnn.. Of course that ManU will be champions again!!
Im a betting man and I look at the stats, when there is money on it, I like anyone else want to win. If I say Liverpool will win then that is where my money is going, if Man Utd win, I am still happy, but out of pocket. Like Poker, you have AA ( Man Utd ) and the flop has revealed a K ( Liverpool ), would you still go all in. Lets say you do and someone else has gone all in with you, they reveal KK, the turn nothing, the river nothing. Its a game of chance, poor example maybe, but that is how I look at it. Champions League last year I went for Chelsea, why? because they followed the same path as Man Utd, 1/4 final out, semi final out, final lost, Final won. Now if they had held on in injury time against Barcelona in the semi final, then I beleive they would have won against United, but Barcelona drew in injury time and went through and then gave United a lesson in football. So it almost paid off, so close, but so far as they say.
