Because maybe you need some time to discover that you are a good player.Need some time to become a good player. And maybe you need some mathematics understands of poker which have something with age.Don't know, was just a question Big Smile

age makes no differnce nowdays, everyone great depending on the day.alot of it is how much money you willing to part with win or lose.online is differnt to live poker.age counts for experience in live where as online is all hidden.

don't you have to be at least 18 years old to play poker legally ? Big Smile

i guess age doesn't matter that much, experience is much more important, not counted in years but in number of hands played..

In theory. But in real life a lot of underaged players are on the tables.

I tend to agree. Plus, a good poker player is one that is continually striving to improve his/her game. Doyle Brunson, as great as he is, is learning something new every day to stay competitive as a player. If a person of his stature is doing this, we all should follow his example.

Honestly i think that there are two group of players. The first one is the 18 to 20 years old this players are impulsive and donkeys! The other one is the one is more than 45! The players that frequent casinos and like to gamble!

You mean what age poker players become good players on average? I say it takes a year to become good but depends how much you play...

Depending on the time you invest in playing and imrpoving your skills

i think that you could be a winningplayer on nice limits with 20 years.
means that if you start with 18, the legal age of playing, you can beat
limits till nl 400 i suppose.
If you are a nerd and spend all your time with guys from different forums even
more.
