Yes i am very sure, i saw PKR running very smooth in the background but cudnt touch any buttons cos Action Poker was flickering all over my screen while PKR was just running normal at my background.

So yes 100% sure.

Wel..., lesson learned... Never touch Action Poker Ever Again......

I am now off to tilt more money down the drain.... night.....

Ouch, why don't you sleep a night first?

I haven't had any problems with action poker though could play it well, ran smooth too.

Oh, And was this the first tournament in which you participated?

That sucks. Same thing happened to me. I found 2 bugs on Action Poker. One I believe that has to do with resizing of the tables, its the flickering you were talking about. Second bug is when AP stops responding and shows error message. Totally sucks..

Once the table starts flickering, I push ctrl-shift-esc and end task AP. And restart it... but I no longer play there

Might be a stupid question, but.... what happend to the 170$ buy-in SNG? You busted out? I'm just curious.. Agree

Sorry to hear it man. I have said quite verbally what I think of Action Poker,( some have gotten pissed with my attitude of site Blink ), but this is some of what I have been saying. You are not alone there dude. Sorry to also say that now that Shaun is gone I think you are SOL. Live and learn . This is why it is important to post experiences in the forum and for all of us to be aware of bugs, problems etc. Sadly though, the support there is not much better than the software. IMO

It is very very bad! 170$ buy-in?!? are you crazy!? lol just kidding! I think taht it is more likely that pkr was the program that caused the shut down it is a very heavy software!! and sometimes it could have problems! Good luck

I dont think so. I play on PKR at same time as 2 others and never a problem. Just with AC

if a program like that freezes and there is nothing to be done, there is no way u need to restart the whole computer, its as easy as crt alt delete with those clients, those clients crashing does not cause you to restart, i use pkr ftp and stars all at the same time, my FTP crashes so hard that nothing needs to be restarted, i just ctrl alt delete and end process

And as others have said pkr is an intensive program, more than action poker and those others like that.

next time it happends try crt alt delete and end the task manually. But it wont happen again as your not playing there anymore.

As i said just from the beginning.
The only nice part about that site are the admins, like shawn was.
The promos are ok, but the software is buggy and all.

Dont believe that theyll can offer any compensation, aslong
they arent sure for 100% its their fault.

Sry doomdy

You cant rail freerolls!! you should have played, you need to be drunk to tolarate it.
Things aint looking good for AP, bet Shaun is LOL now, with more free time not having to sort out a load of crAP.

Well i lost 12 hands during the bubble so yes i lost.
Dont mind losing if i loose fair, but in this case nothing i cud do, my blinds just eat me up...

I just want to say to all people carefull with Action Poker, its not only me who tells the same story.
The Action Network is UnStable like crazy so just be carefull and ask urself the question if you want to deposit your money in a pokerroom with a unstable network.

Just my opinion......

Hey doomdy, juz wondering how much have you earned since u started playing the bonuses from BRM?...

Try multi-tabling on Action, ok for a while, then it dies and you have to reboot, but to have PKR open as well, I wouldnt even go there, it is one or the other, but never both at the same time.

Yeah, PKR is very resource hungry so i tend not to have anything else open except that, my PC is pretty decent and can handle big programs but PKR tends take up a massive % CPU.

Action is one of the dodgiest sites to play on software wise and also, I keep having withdrawal problems there. I read a thread a while back about there being a delay, something to do with them having "deposit problems" into their money bookers account... Very iffy indeed as they just told me the same thing as they told them!!

I'm not leaving too much money on that site at any one time, I'll bonus whore the summer promo then disappear again me thinks.
