Hey guys. Just wanted to gather a general consensus of how many BB's everyone thinks would be necessary to warrant folding every hand unless you're going to shove it all in? I've heard 10-20...but do you guys think there should be a definitive amount, or even just determining the amount based on the table dynamics when short stacked..??

generally you try to have 10x the big and small blinds.to be safe and work from there.try to push hard when you get down to 3 or4 x the blind or no chip power left.every tourney different so play it as it comes.

Some strategy I,ve read talk about 13BB to start Push or fold Phase: when u or other opponents have less than 13BB. If u are first in u or following opponents still in the game < 13BB

Here's M-Zone/M-Ratio, I thought Dan Harrington invented it but I guess it's Paul Magriel. I haven't heard of ICM, I'll check it out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-ratio

You should definitely calculate your "M", it also takes the smal blind and antes into account; if you play in a qualifier you should also look at your "Q", which is your stack divided by the average stack in the tourney... I believe the whole thing is called "theory of inflection points"..
