Mansion Poker "Sit and Go" Tournaments, begin at $1+$0.20  0
Hi,
My name is Artem
I play online poker for 2 months, beginning from freerolls on RedStarPoker.
Some days ago i received $50 no-deposit bonus on Mansion Poker from BRM.
Now i play $1+$0.20 SnG tournaments (2 tables simultaneously, cause i do not have enough practise and experience, just reading articles and books on poker tournaments now).
This blog is created for self-control and watching the trend of my bankroll

After little downstrick, yesterday i had a success and now my bankroll is $50.82

Don't play those tourneys. $1+$0.20 means you have to pay 20% rake. That is hard to beat, even if you are a lot better than the average player.

the rules of bankroll management are "not more, than 2% of bakroll for 1 tournament", so i shuold try to keep it and level up on $100 bankroll)

True, but on iPoker you only have fair raked SnG form $5 and above. And to play $5 you should have $250...

so, that means that i should have a goal to reach the $5 buy-in as soon as possible, playing due to bankroll management))

Yep.

10% rake and 20% rake are a huge difference.

Not really Big Smile
There are allways enough unskilled players on 5$ sngs.
there is not much to change in the strategy.
i would suppose to play no limit with those 50$

and start to play 5$sngs when you reached 250-300$

i play no limit Sng, not limited, i ment $1 and $5 buy-in players and difference between their skills)

yes as i said, there is not a big difference, you will have less players
that play many hands and bet bad.

The higher you come the less unskilled players you find.
Between 1$ and 5$ sngs is not a big gap of skill

The lower %fee will not only compensate the slightly harder field, but also improve your %ROI. So you can play comfortably that level and the next 2.

hey there,
It's nice to see that you work with your BrMl, but as ADACTA said, the rake is huge, so I wish you the luck you need to raise your Bankroll to the next level Smile

Patience, the first thing you have to do is raise your bankroll. Then you can start to play 5$sngs when you reached $250

I think you need to come up with a new plan, 20% rake is huge.. I play on PKR and depending on what I'm playing the rake is either 5% or 10% and quite often after a large session I may be down a little and then realise that without rake I would have made a profit. Beating rake is one of the hardest things when you're first trying to crack poker. Especially without any rakeback..

I'd seriously suggest maybe buying into 1c/2c cash tables or something until you build your roll to where you'd like it to be for 10% raked SNGs

so, i should play cash games now,you suppose, until i have enough bankroll for 5$ SnG?

well - maybe, obviously if you're profiting from the $1 SNGs and beating rake then I guess stick with what you're good at. But if you're alright at the cash games, then in theory you'll be making more profit by paying less rake :/
