Complaining idiots  0
I recently played an SNG, we were down to 6 players when the 2 chip leaders came up against each other. The player sat next to me raised pre-flop & I had rubbish so folded my cards at no expense. The player next to me raised all in, every1 else folded til it got to the player with the initial raise. He calls. So we all wait for the show of cards, the player who made the all in bet has pocket 9's while the player who made the initial raise only had pocket 4's. No one hit anything on the board so pocket 4's lose. This guy clearly not happy at losing starts ranting and raving calling this guy a fish. What an idiot Aww crap! the only fish I could see was him

I just love those complaining idiots! Big Smile They make my good hands look REALLY good! I guess complaining is a sign of weakness, or at least some sign that if seen by more experienced players, will be taken advantage of.

I also realized that those same complaining idiots are always the ones to tilt... having no respect for their own stack.

All and all, I just love playing against those types of players! Blink

i uno those kind of players i seem to find are very recklace which makes them very dangerious... they do stupid things.. like call an all in with pocket 4's.... btu say another 4 comes up then your in big trouble so... i gust of luck and they can become very lucky an put you in a tough spot...

They are definately dangerous. Because sometimes they will actually put you on a coin flip. Sort of like how Gus Hansen put Phil Helmuth when Gus without looking at his cards, went all in with 22 and Phil called with AJs. A 2 appeared on the board and Gus eliminated Phil. I guess someone was upset! Big Smile

I posted this video in the Poker Video DATABASE thread. For those of you who haven´t seen it, check it out! Thumbs Up

wow nice one, i'll take a look, betting all in without even looking at your cards? your opponent won't be able to get a read at you.

Yep, but under the circumstances that Gus was under, a point system tourney where only the win was of interest, he was very much loyal to his strategy. Thumbs Up

lol, I cant stop thinking about the American Version of The Office when I read this post. The Casino episode where Michael goes all in during first hand and gets called by his officenemesis and Michael says "How can you call? You are so stupid"

Yeah, i agree it's stupid to complain about losing, specially if you are losing before the flop too!
But of corse it sucks (and it's kinda bad luck too) if you go all-in with pocket pair and other player has a better pocket pair, like JJ vs. KK... And if that happends many times in a row, maybe i would do little Tilt-complaining too Big Smile

Why would you go all in with low pocket pairs in the first place? Most of the time it is not bad luck to see your 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99, 10 10, get beat, if you think about it, there are still 16 cards in the deck that are higher then all those pocket pairs. A simple top pair is not that difficult to hit! So becareful when going all in with small pocket pairs, and don´t be surprised if you lose! Of course you can always hit a set.. but hey, for me, no thanks!

yea i agree with you fodz.. the chances of an opponent hitting an over card is usually much higher than you hitting your set... cuz they may also have other outs, such as straight, flush, over pair.. if you have your pockets a straight is still possibly but you need 4 connectors instead of 2 same with flush... but you really have a 2 outter... to make quads or a set so...

Thanks for all your replys made interesting reading been a bit busy to post a response working & playing in my pub league (poker). I just couldn't believe this guy was complaining if I had made that stupid call I would have left the table without saying a word

yea those whiners jus make the game so blah... its sooo stupid hearing them bitch and complain.. what makes is worse is that 99.89% of the time they are the one thats makin the stupid move

We all know that the politically correct thing to do when you lose is to say the famous two words, "nice hand". But does that mean you have to lie?!? Yes I know it´s tough to digest some calls in poker, but the calmer you remain, the more games you´ll be invited to play, at least in live game you will!

nah i think if they get lucky and you get a bad beat i think your suposed to say.. good call... or something along those lines cuz if they dont have a good hand there you shouldnt lie... but definatly being polite is a must

But technically, if your opponents hand wins, then at least he/she has a "nicer" hand than yours. Sometimes when it does happen, the adversary gets lucky, I say it one time only: "No comment" and basically that says it all, without being rude and whiny.

Well yeah during bad beats Smile i also some time write some "no comment" or " donk" but that has to be rly stupid play style of my actuall opponent and he have to played it bad and had tons of luck and then i might get a but pissed Smile)) Evil

In my opinion it's best to go all-in with pocket pairs in some situations...
It's usually a good bet if you can get against of only 1 opponent...
