I dont belieave either to this "magic lucky stuff" but as placebo it should be rly good ... but i saw many pros doing such a weird things ... like Tuan Lam had the same t-shirt whole WSOP main even and he said it was his lucky t-shirt Mb it was becouse he smelled so much after 3 rd day so no 1 @ table wasnt able to stay concentrated )

hahah yea that happens alot in soccer and football lol people dont wash their jerseys so we all try to stay away from them cuz they stink like B.O sooo bad lol
but yea ive seen some stupid things like nodding head lions, lil stufffed frogs.. people only wearing green... some people really need that stuff

Maybe what happens is not luck, but confidence. The guy "thinks" that it will make him play better, therefore he is more confident and able to be more attentive and prepared for the occasion. So my vote goes for confidence, definately

ive actually read alot of articles on that fodz... about people who are so confident that things actually happen that way.. i uno some people beleive that with enough postive attitude things will go your way... so its a good vote lol

It makes sense... if the fellow thinks that a certain hat will make him play better, then he feels more confident and actually plays better. Not because of the hat itseld, but because of what and how he felt regarding the hat.

I have lucky wax in my ears, always so if i dont hear you say something keep that in mind.
No lucky charms here. But i could use one right now. Im in a bad streak on Full tilt and god only knows how im still on starting balance after that streak. Got kicked out of two tournaments, one HORSE and other RAZZ only because of poor cards. I have hit less then 20 flops and played 50 points worth of hands on small limits. But im up $4 and earned first 50 points for Ironman challenge

It all started when I came home from the Helsinki freezeout, I was in the hole for like 7K for the trip and 5K running bad and I really needed an okey win in a tournament I was playing. Party Poker 33$ rebuy, I ended up winning it and breaking just even, about 2 weeks after I won another tournament with almost the same prizemoney, so instead of beeing down 12K to beeing even I was now up 12K. The only common denominator I found was that I had a pair of fluffy slippers on... I always wear those slippers when I play now. If I dont bring them to pokerlans etc I go out in like 30-45 minutes. If you ever see me at wsop I'll be the one with the checked slippers in grey, brown and white.

Yeah concetration is a rly big part of success and in live playing sometimes rly helps when u have for example head phones even without music or so ... just to avoid other voices which should get u out of focus ...

Well.. i'm not really using any "magic"-stuff... But if i get a good run (upswing) i don't want to change the skin of my poker client... And if i get a bad run i keep changing it until it ends.. heheh.
