Nothing wrong with flat calling with a pocket pair behind a raise especially with position.
I would often flat call a raise with jacks if I have position. out of position I'd 3-bet with them almost always.
If there's no raise to me I'd always raise with Jacks.
Raising is obviously a key part to being a winning NLHE player but mixing things up by flat calling with some hands will add a great deal to your overall game. Playing a bigger pair by just flatting a raise can hide your hand and the deception of doing so can pay of big.

It really depends, but to me raise when the pot is limped is a must with Jacks, in any position. Depending on stack size, reraising a raise is OK to get information.
I play them with caution on high flops like KQ5 or something like that.
To me in poker theres never one way of playing your pocket cards, you can even limp in with pocket aces if you know that you can outplay your opponent and make him give you tons of money...

Many people state that JJ is to weak to play strong and to strong to play weak.
My advice is to open raise always, and always raise it against limpers. Against an early raise play it like you wold play a small pair, for set value and you can be aggressive on the flop if there are no overcards.

I prefer to raise with jacks, but if someone already raised a lot and I am in position I might just call. If I then avoid A, K or Q on the flop I am ready to put my chips all-in.

raise preflop 4times bigblind from any position! except there was a 4times bb raise allready then just call, if he raises more than 4bb before your action just call if opponent has more than 50-60 times bb and hope youll hit the flop or there is no overcard on the board!
