Ive had a pretty good day at the tables today, built my Party Poker bankroll a bit - am closing in on my bonus points etc so i cant really complain. Been playin the $11 DoNs and doin well. Was about to log off - had a quick look thru the tourneys (mtts) and seen a $1k guaranteed, $1 entry, startin in about 10mins ish that only had 600 odd runners - thought there would probably be some ev in it ( there was- just 900 runners ish) so thought why not- im in for a dollar......
Played imho flawless poker - thinkin really well - seein the donks - makin the right moves etc - for first 45 mins - went a little card dead towards and just after the break but still sittin comfortable just over the average 13,000 chips. In fact i was table chip leader - not by much (100 chips) to villain on my left.210 players ish left - money starts at 100 - im thinkin i should piss it...... then comes the hand........
Basically i am in cutoff blinds are 300/600 so villain on button Donk with 4600ish min raises to 1200 ( from early pos) the others fold me KK raise to 3600 villain calls 3600 blinds fold donk moves all in i move in over top wanna isolate donk - now im thinkin if buttons got aces so be it good game n all- villain all in I show KK donk QQ villain AK

I know its only a dollar but christ it hurts sometimes this game.
I take the pot down im on 30k and cruisin into the money - and maybe the top ten wi a reasonable return for my hour and a half flawless fucken poker......aaaarrgghh.
I dunno why i even bothered - i was 4 tabling them $11 dons earlier in the day and doin well.
Why do Mtts hurt the most eh.?

like i said before the person that played the qq had been playing imo poorly - playin junk oop, calling down wi weak holdings etc - the reference donk is my view of the player after an hour and half - not PLAYIN QQ what u think i am fucken BRAINDEAD or somet. That applies to mr nuggers comment - and sorry guys i shoulda explained myself better

No absolutely not. It was just a bummer to go out after that long and bein a big favourite in the hand - i think people have missed the point of the post. i am not complaining bout the beat - more the element of the cold deck that got me busted. Anyone woulda played the same - i am aware of that - just a cold deck. It was just me whinging after a long day - thats all.

This is the problem of this kind of MTT, players are similar to the freeroll ones They can think here is a good chance to triple up if it goes if it does't .... it was just a dollar
and it hurts much because u spend hours playing whitout winning nothing
BTW: remains the question I asked in an old Poll: are my KK a magnet for aces?

Its always sad to get out after an hour of playing and even worst when you have done nothing wrong. This is the type of hands that put pros out of big events. Everything has to do with the management of the stack. The best is never risk it all unless you are nuts, because everything can happen.
