Very weird situation what do you think will happen ?   0
My m8 just won $63000 on FT playing the 750k gtd MTT however he was using his GF's account to play it and after winning the money went to transfer the lot to his account in one go, FT immediatly stoped him and closed both account and e-mailed saying this and that. My m8 then told them truth about what happend and they said thanks for your honesty we will get back to you when we have decided what to do?/

What you think ?

ooh. some of those sites are pretty tough on rules regarding not playing under someone elses account.

No offense, but pretty silly IMO to try and xfr to his account, why not cash-out to hers, they would have been none the wiser...

hope it works out for him then :/

Almost certain to have the money taken off him.

Its completely against the rules to play under someone elses account/

I cannot believe he was stupid enough to play using someone elses account. Why didnt he just transfer the buy in into his account and play it using his own name.

Even more stupid is attempting to transfer the lot to his own name.. Like FTP arent gonna notice someone transferring that much money without it raising suspicion.

Whatever you do dont go posting this on every forum, stay well clear of 2+2, wh didnt he think befor acting, does he not trust his GF, should of just cashed out in her name simple, now he faces losing it all, 63k on stupidity, shame. Bet he is giving himself a right good kicking.

Was he afraid that his grilfriend should take all the money and leave?

What's the point of the rush to transfer the money?

Of course it looks suspicius when he do this. I guess he was hot in the head after winning that much.

I'd be surprised if he got the money, I got locked out and had to send in id and other info requested to verify who I was because I was about to unlock a no deposit bonus so I could cash out my winnings. Haven't heard back from FT and it's been almost 2 weeks now. I still can't log in to even look at the site. Good luck, maybe they will lend u some pitty and give out the money. I wonder how often people get locked out and don't get the money? Just imagine how many people are po'd about winning but not being able to get the money.

Anwser a few of your questions

1. He did try and transfer the buy in to his account but it wasnt working
2. You cant cash 63k out you can only do 2.5k 2 times a week and he wanted to build a massive bankroll on his account

I do however admit it was plain stupid trying to transfer 63k lol but hey if i won that sort of money i would be so estactic i wouldnt think about my actions and try to get the money into my account asap

Thaks for the feedback anyway guys

Hope he gets it hitting me up 100 if so lol

Ur doomed most of the times.

Playing under different accounts and trasnfer instantly to another one from the same ip is not smart.

8/10 they seize his funds.
FTP support isnt the fastest one on the planet and also known for being very very diffcult of reopening an account.

Gl with that

Well answer 1 might work in his favor, if he can prove to FT that the only reason he used that account was cause he could not transfer due to them then they might take that as a good reason to use that account.

I highly doubt that.
Yet they both are going to send in IDs and stuff anywayz.
Coz everyone can claim that he is related with the person.

FTP is diffciult.
As far as I know, not so long ago I read a 20 page thread about someone that got 25K seized, and 5 accounts locked.
those accounts were friends of him where he ever made a trasnfer with, even from a year back ago. (no illegal s**t) They were just related and stored on his history.

How come it was ok for Hac + Di dang to share an acc. with full tilt. They now play under Trex313 and Urindanger. Thats openly admitted they did that - i dont get it?

I think he'll get the money and a stern warning - There was some other top player who tried to play on the high stakes tables on his bros acc and he admitted what was up when they asked him to validate the account they just closed the bros account and transferred his funds and made him promise not to do it again - may have been Phil Galfond, and that is a situation where id would really matter...

i think it was a pretty stupid move to transfer funds just after winning 63k on another account, ftp are pretty strict on these matters so i think you're gonna end up with your account closed but good luck anyways.

Coz they have tons of cash. Rooms policy / decisions. They don't want to lose those highrollers that rake more then 100 players.

That is pretty damn sickening, but on the same score it was a dumb move, like everyone says just cash out to moneybookers or sumat like that and ship it to yours/his from there, its a dangerous play to use others accounts, I think that the accounts will be locked as its all in t&c's no matter wich way you look at it this is mluti-accounting and can be seen as fruadulant in wich case there is trouble, as for pokersites having pity? nah can't see it tbh. they are a business let one get away with and and...

you know the rest. but just in case im wrong Best of luck i presume your friend will donate some to the next BRM full tilt game for an added prizepool LOL Big Smile

I am wondering if the accounts reamain closed , is this money gonna be "refunded" to the other players??? I have had $$$ refunded to me after a game ,( FT never told me which player had done somthing), and to my surprise i had $$$ back in my account. Keep us posted as i think many believe as I do that no way will they get that money as to FT will look fishy.

There are some really stupid people out there. $63K to another account ... in one go!?!? is he mental? Did he not think they'd get suspicious? He might have gotten away with a few hundred to his account if he was desperate to play on it.

Best he could have done was cash out whatever they allow through her account, and deposit back into his own when he got the money.

Patience is all he needed to be rich. Stupidity will keep him poor.
