I notice more and more on forums the Bad beat section filled with utter junk that is standard or has happened thru bad/weak play.
Very rare that you do see a bad beat, i think i have had one Bad beat in my 5 years of online poker and that was full house vs str8 flush on the river, my Fh made on the flop his str8 flush on the river,
Mine is quite simple - the one that sticks out in my mind anyhow. MTT i have average stack as does villain - whom i have position on - i get a min raise from villain - i re raise wi KK - villain calls ( we r HU now) - flop comes K 9 9 - ( i chuckle to myself ) - it goes check- raise all in, call - he flips 88. ( chuckle louder ) - turn 8. river 8. 1000/1 shot. the 2 case cards his only saviour.

The definition of bad beat can have several interpretations, but when you begin the hand at front and end up loosing, you will always consider you had a bad beat. Once i was getting short on a tourney and i was almost making it to the paid places when i get AK. I went all in and the only guy who went to see was the BB, who was also the chip leader. He had 93 and a 9 came at the flop. I became bubble and thats why i remember it, but i would have done the same if i was him. Now, is this a bad beat? To me it was, but not big really bad beat...

Maybe this isn't bad beat, just bad play My bad beat was set of Aces vs. FH On the flop 3, 7, A, then I gone ALL IN, somebody(AQ) paid me, 10 on the turn, and I just look winner, but the river didn't thinks the same - the river was Q. I won't remember how much I lose

Most Bad Beat JackPots pay out if quads get beat, some only for quad Jacks or even better. My last bad beat was when i lost quad tens to queens on the river
