I joined Walker poker [Merge network] through a freebie from another site a while back, since then I've deposited a few times but never withdrew anything, just played it down and deposited again or just played the free rolls.
Over a week ago I made my first withdrawal - a mere $50 - the minimum allowed on the site to moneybookers.
7 days later, still no cash, it's still 'pending' and there's still the option to cancel the process ... how surprising.
A look around other forums suggests they're notorious for slow withdrawals, often taking up to 28 days!!! WTF!? Slowest pokerroom on the net for withdrawing from?
Even worse than their slowness, is the fact you're not allowed deposit, or make anymore withdrawls until that one has gone through! What a rip! Their hope is that you'll get fed up waiting , i imagine, and cancel the withdrawal to get the money back in to play with.
Well that's not going to happen, since making the withdrawal and leaving $20 in to play with, I've got that up to over $100, and I'll wait patiently for the withdrawal as I want proof of how slow they really are.
If you like quick withdrawals, steer clear.
Boylepoker [ipoker network] process withdrawals to moneybookers within 12hrs, Ladbrokes guarantee it within 6hrs and party poker can do it within the 6, often within 3hrs! these slow sites are shooting themselve's in the foot by being so slow. i doubt I'll ever deposit there again after this.

They're on the Merge Network [reefer poker, carbon poker, big bet poker, poker nordica, Aced ...etc ..]
decent software, but terrible withdrawing problems. Apparently all the merge rooms are slow, but Walker is the slowest.
I only tried it because I got a free $10 for there, and I seen it might be a good place for easy mtts [I've cashed in a few since] - I didn't know they were so bad at processing money.

its really sad that some sites while depositing allow instant deposit but while withdrawing take weeks to process the withdrawal. it does them no good in long term so why this nonsense
Full tilt took within 3 hours to process my money... well 28 days to process a withdrawal request??? Come on... surely the site which we all have to avoid... what a joke

I've sent 3 e-mails to them, i got quick responses on the first 2 - First telling me it takes up to "72 hours to process withdrawals" - Ok, I let 72 hrs pass - Then i mailed again asking how long it normally takes and they replied "5-7 business days" - erm, "business" days? Surely Poker sites do 'business' every day, anyway, allowing them the weekend it's still been 5 days now [withdraw request was put in last Thur's morning, early] and they haven't replied to my latest e-mail.
The trouble is, I'm doing ok on there, considering I started with a free $10 and 2 small deposits, I'm up to just under $200, excluding the pending withdrawal. I guess they hope I'll lose all that and cancel the withdraw. Aint happening Walker! I'll just spread the word that it's a dodgy, sluggish site when it comes to payouts.
I have the same problem. My withdrawal request for $100 dated Sept. 28 is still in the "pending approval' status , althohg the terms and conditions of the agreement with WalkerPoker stipulate that withdrawal requests are processed within 21 days. My numerous emails to WalkerPoker resulted in four excuses from WalkerPoker, calling me for patience. I suspect fraud and want to withdraw the rest of my bankroll from WalkerPoker.

Yeah, ain't it strange that you can deposit in like three seconds, but when you wan't your money back (to the same account) it will at least take days. Well, not on all sites, but almost. Not that I mind waiting one or two days, but is there some reason for this, other than the one one might suspect, that they want you to cancel the withdrawal?
Edit: Thanks for the tip. I ain't playing Walker poker.

I'm guessing they are trying for you to give up and cancel the withdraw. Kind of what everest does that they don't let you withdraw for 72 hs after a deposit
