Back to a challange, Iv done this, play a session without looking at your cards, play the players and board only, obviously only low stakes and see if you can turn say $10 in to a profit. A bit of fun and good practice.

Yea thats a good idea when I run up a bit and made some cash before jumping in those things, coz before I know I might just tilt myself ( not often but still)
Maybe this is already more hte guideline :
1. New room with rakeback? 2. Only Limit games / draw games 3. 25-50$ deposit max

Here are some suggestions: 1) Get a no deposit bonus for $25 - $50 (or make deposit for max of $50 if you have already got them and can't get one) 2) Track your play with software so we can see your progress 3) Apply bank roll management (this means you have to apply effective brm and play your way up from the micro's.....lol. = lots of bad beats from bad players/starting hands/suckouts/etc.) 4) Give us weekly or monthly updates of your experience at each stake level (we want to hear about your bad beats at these levels) 5) You can play both tourneys and ring games and you must play both. You have to apply brm and just can't buy into a tourney for $10, $20, ... and jump up limits. You have to work your way out of the micro's buy playing the $1 donk fests (he he he - Now that's mean).
These are some starting guidelines and I'm sure brm members will come up with some more good stuff. Starting from $25 - $50 and working your way up to $1,000 is a cool challenge and would like to see it done. I think it would be neat to see someone do this and give updates and show the progress as they go along til they reach $1k.

I have a tremendous challenge for you. If you will play only FL/Draw games, my suggestion is: Make a $20 deposit on an iPoker skin, start playing FL HU on $0,02/$0,04 and keep your BR alive. You will beat your opponents without any problem, but can you beat the rake? Do it without going broke.
Micro-stakes HU games, where everyone who plays becomes a loser.
