I really dont know if this is good or bad. I mean its nice that poker is getting bigger every year, but i think this will bring some problems which have already started like online poker legislation. As more money start to move online poker, more problems we will have with cash outs and taxes.

When the number of players in a certain game grow, its prize also tend to grow. It happens in every games. look at Euromillions: once they give the oportunity for every adult citizen from all Europe (27 countries) to participate, the prize tends to be huge too, thats why sometimes it comes to be 100 million euros. But i just hope that WCOOP also grows, its a sign that poker continues to develop world wide.

Posted by Btownd87: You can't compare prizepools from Wimbledon or the PGA with those of the WCOOP.
$40,000,000 over 65 events.
Wimbledon is around $22,000,000 over 1 event
Average PGA event prizepool is $1,700,000, which far exceed the average prizepool for the WCOOP
------------ I meant $40,000,000 over 45 events
Actually Wimbledon has also more than 1 event, because the 22 million are splited betwen mens sigles &doubles, women singles &doubles and mixed doubles.
