humm, one of the standart problems in poker..You got a nice hand, but theres a set. In fact, your opponent played it very good..cant tell u if u should've folded this one..Imao, i wouldnt have thrown away this one.no flush, no str8..just the pocket pair could beat ya..MAYBE his reraise on the turn might have given a hint to you..but anyway, i think u didnt make a mistake and just had badluck.happens, move on
I get frustrated when that happens to me too. I don't see a pf raise, but who's to say the player wouldn't have called just to see the flop. I had to learn the hard way with sets, if the person just limped from the blinds and fires back after you raise then that sets off alarms that they may have a hand. It takes getting burned a few times to see the same play comming at you in the future. Trust me, you learned from this one as anyone else would. If not, then you will get burned again.

Posted by shokaku: -Fill up your stack before the hand
-Raise preflop
-Top2 vs set, there is no escape
-Thank the poker god, that your opponent had only half a stack as the hand started
Saves me typing. Id also say sit at a diffrent table. But "Top2 vs set, there is no escape" the Turn told you he was not going away i would consider folding with no flush draw. But that would be play pending, dont know what image was but I bet at the point he put you all in you said to yourself, s**t bet he has set....

Play the Turn better. Looks like you stack off here with top2. You can lose less money here, though you think you are good. Gotta smell the set here with the action that occurs.
a la shoka and bigfoot - thank the lord u didnt lose more and move on - there prob was no escape - any1 else says it was a fold is full of.................

i think u just got unlucky, no way you could have folded that. i would never fold this in a ring game but i would play this a little more aggressive on river, instead of raising i would have preferred to call at river .
