Hi all,
Lately, I read few articles about different kind of software which counts for you pod odds, win probability, EV etc. I was wondering if someone who actually used or uses such kind of software could share his thoughts and experience. Basically, what I'm trying to find out if there is a point to get such software and use it. So far I'm not experienced poker player, will this help me to get better faster? Is there any big difference between Texas Calculatem, Calculatem Pro or Texas Indicator
Don't know. I don't use any calculators or tracking software. Just search web and read reviews and I could imagine you will figure out which one to get.

Be careful because some of these softwares are not allowed at some sites like PokerStars, if I'm not wrong. I think you must practice how to calculate pot odds and odds, so you'll be able to do it faster later.

Agree with Plexo, once you get the hang of it and practice for a while you wont need calculator. When you see cards you will know exactly what the odds are

Yeah i dont use them either but thats not to say i wouldnt I might try some when i get back to poker ??? it might give me some thing extra to consentrate on and save me from loosing focus. I used to have one i think it was called elephant? "when i played a lot of ring games" i have never used them on SnGs as you need a good few games to get any decent stats.

I checked like hunfreds of websites etc. In the end looks like the best poker calculators on the market at the moment are: Holdem Indicator, Calculatem Pro, Texas Calculatem. You can get each one for free when you open an RM account on one of the websites they work with and make a dep of min 50 USD.

Pokertracker is a great softeare to improve your game at low limits because it make it easy for you to spot the donks when you play like 6 + tables and players come and go very fast at the low limits so hard to keep track for all the names.
