So I was sat there thinking, how can i make a name for myself and make money at the same time. prostitution is out, bank robbing is out, becoming a terrorist is out,

Lets stick with the poker,

starting from next week i am going to attempt to turn $200 into $200,000 in 2 years, following a very strict BR managment.

why? becuase i am bored and i need to set new challenges,

sites i will run this on

$100 on pokerstars - username: gaztheyorkie
$100 on another site yet to be decided,

now that means i need to make $100,000 on each site,

i can play any game as long as it falls into BRM if i drop to where i am risking my BRM i fail,
now heres the other at no time can i sit with someone i know intentionally ( outside of a mtt basicly)

As the weeks progress and i play this out, i will blog a selection of hands and my thoughts on my session, the players i played anything i can do better also i will post my BR so i can see how im doing and also you guys can watch in amusment,

Many have done challenges like this before, why am i doing it? becuase i believe i can.

Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar

Gogogogog GAZZZZZZZ Worship

Thats a very hard challenge Gaz, i dunno ur skills so cant really say anything about this Smile
Hope u make it offcourse Smile
Its hard but not impossible offcourse, the start is doable, from $100 too lets say couple off thousands, after that u need to go up in limits, thats the hard part, are u skillfull enough to be still profitable on higher limits Smile

Anyway nice challenge GL Smile

Good luck. Just wondering what software you will be using to keep track of your progress? Any other stuff you will be doing to give you the edge?

Wow, nice challenge indeed... long one I mean we'll have to wait 2 years to know if it's completed or not. It'll be very interesting to follow this as I'll probably take some examples of what you'll do if everything is running positively well for you. Big good luck Worship

Ok so yes i will be using HM and i found a totally sick little program that really is for dumb people (hence why i have it ) wich displays odds/ outs/ percentage junkies chocolate bar if you like,

yes it is a tough task and a long one but thats the point surely,

doomdy, you make a valid point with regards to getting to the high rollers tables, but im quitely confident.

Just to put you all on the level i have also just had a month of one on one coaching for all NLHE games and a brief look into omaha hi - wich i enjoy anyway.

not forgetting that i am not just sticking to cash tables here im using anything i can to make it up the levels,

I will post my BRM strategy this week

My start date will be this coming Saturday (19th)

here goes two years of my poker life Blink

Good luck on your challenge. I'll be paying attention to your progress.

I think it's goig to be hard to do it.
Maybe you could split your main goal in 4 parts. Like 10K at first 6 months, 50K at year, 125K at year and half and finally the 200K.

Keep us inform about your progress.

ty-

Whilst my overall goal is $200k in 2 years I am going to set myself session targets, then obv blog each session so people can see whats what and also get an insight into the way i think.

with regards to splitting my goal into diffrent targets of course this is something i will look at but it would obv be a rolling target so if i didnt hit it i can add it onto the following month ect, but i will blog how im hoping to achieve it all this week ready for saturday.

I just want to be clear, does HM stand for Holdem Manager? And what is the program that you use for your odds? I am asking because I don't use any software yet and I know everyone online is using this stuff. So I am aware that in order to keep up and be more profitable online that I need to start using this stuff also. I know these programs keep stats on people (style of play, AF, PFR%, etc.) which seems nice to use because of the volume of people on the web. I have come across some grinders that seem to never make any mistakes and are always making profit at every table and every time they play. They always no when to play, fold and never seem to make mistakes. Which also raises some other questions about what they are doing???? Because nobody is perfect but these several players seem to never make any mistakes, if they do it is extrememly rare and there loss is minimal. I'm only bringing this up because they are usually the only ones at the tables that increase the max buy in for a ring games 5 - 6 times then leave. Usually running on a min of 4 tables and doing that on all 4. No I am not saying it can't be done and I am not complaining, but after all we are humans and do make mistakes from time to time which is why I am bringing this up.
