Full Tilt deal to be completed next week?

Tags: bernard tapie group, black friday, full tilt poker, laurent tapie.
Posted on 26 March 2012 by "T".

According to a source with good understanding in the situation between Full Tilt Poker and Bernard Tapie Group, Laurent Tapie has moved to Dublin, Ireland, where Pocket Kings (the owners of Full Tilt Poker) has its head office. Laurent Tapie, son of the well-known politician and entrepreneur Bernard Tapie, has been in charge of completing the Full Tilt deal since the negotiations began in September last year.

The source, who's not named anywhere, says that Laurent Tapie is now finalizing the deal between Bernard Tapie Group and Full Tilt and the official agreement should be signed sometime next week. This means that Full Tilt Poker might be ready for a new launch in Europe in a couple of weeks.

However, no official statements have been made by either Full Tilt or Bernard Tapie Group since the beginning of March when Full Tilt's CEO Ray Bitar apologized to poker world (almost 1 year after Black Friday), so we will have to wait a bit longer before we know for sure what's going to happen.

Well im not an expert in business world but i think that if FullTilt comes back and those 3 persons that have destroy it still remains in the company, thats bad publicity

Don't worry, it will be lots of morons depositing there again. Some people never learn.

After this agreement, I guess there may be other identities who still have to pronounce before FT can restart action again. This are good news, things are going fast, but calm down. I just hope BRM can get some good promos for us with FT when they get back to business, that would rock!

I read this on the 14th, over a week ago, from sources close to the matter and blar blar, the whole report was full of "expected" etc.
It also goes on to say after the sale there willl be a 4 week build up, so that's 6 weeks then even after sale.
I don't see what's so hard about the sale anymore, to me its just stalling for time for whatever reason.
 aatje26/03/2012 16:48:26 GMT
Well i have a few hundred on there but even if they pay it back i wil withdraw the money and never play there again ...thats what everybody should do...
They wont see it coming.Big relaunche FTP and when everybody gets their money they all cash out and it will be like Kingdom of Poker ...only the staff there playing...

Again more blah blah news from the Full Tilt story.
I guess their name says it all after all that crap that has happened so far.
Everyone is on full tilt with them Smile

I want my hard earned money paid to me, although it´s not too much, but it+s the principle of the thing.............then I´ll decide whether to stay or not
 AlexSimion26/03/2012 21:11:44 GMT
I really don't know how they will be able to pay everyone back their money , hope u guys get it back Big Smile, good thing I didn't decide to go playing on fulltilt , had a moment 1-2 years ago , but changed my mind Big Smile.
 Greenmohave26/03/2012 21:15:09 GMT
I just hope things work out so they can make a come back in the electronic poker world. I know they owe players money, but whether or not we get it will depend on the DOJ. The DOJ may require taxes be paid on any monies withdrawn although the truth be known we should have been paid interest on the money.

My biggest thing with FT is they had it going on. They had better variety of games at all levels. Hell, even there freerolls were better when it comes to variety. I enjoyed playing RAZZ and RUSH poker to. You would think some of these poker sites that are operating would have implemented some of the gaming structures FT dominated in. There's not one site operating that can compete with the offers FT once had or the amount of players. I don't care what's said. If it weren't for the DOJ jumping in on the #1 site they'd still be #1. There's not a close 2nd out there at this time!

15th april, ironic date.

I only want to know if deal is done or broke. With long time waiting, date don´t care to me. Now i play in another site (much more little levels) and i need some time to clear the bonus.

I want my 8k in FTP back...
 pochui27/03/2012 14:41:41 GMT
yes my $0.03 will be back- and the first thing i'm gonna do is apply bankroll management so that in three years my bankroll would safely grow to an amazing amount of $0.07 Big Smile my only concern is that full tilt wouldn't go bust by the time i am attempting to reach this amazing goal Agree
 urmas198327/03/2012 15:12:25 GMT
WoW you all had your full bankroll in fulltilt account Confused then I think you deserve not to get your money back.cash out after every session and leave only the bankroll you afford to lose in there.I did it left only 100 Dollar there and Don't cry loseing it I cahsd out from only 100 Dollar bankroll over 5 k in 6 months Dollar playing 0.25 0.50 rush poker Worship
 Calmplay27/03/2012 17:50:08 GMT
I also have a few bucks there not a very import
ant one... full tilt was my favorite place to play but it sure can still be my fav one if one day it will run back like it was... I am confident it can happen with good promos but the question is indeed will the players who lost completely all the confidence will be back one day or not...
 shokaku27/03/2012 19:23:58 GMT
Even if Full Tilt is able to reopen, they will not get to the player level they had before black friday. Some players may return, as they did with AP and UB, but the whole american market is still closed to them. So i doubt there will be the "critical mass" of players there.
 damosk27/03/2012 20:37:52 GMT
Some interesting ideas going on here....... love the one about cashing out starting with smallest bankrolls first and then moving up. I'll certainly be one of the first in the queue and then spend a few pennies somewhere else!

However........ FTP will have foreseen all of this negativity and will no doubt use the usual promos to entice us all back, at least for a start........unless of course the other big hitters use their reintroduction to the scene to drive their own promos to keep everyone away!

.... see you all there in 12 months!!!!!!!
 DaCapo7127/03/2012 21:40:39 GMT
The hope never die...we wait since one year. FullTilt must be come back in the next time or never. Rush poker is no more a reason, zoom is a good alternative.

I don´t understand this type of stupid comment, and there are quite a few out there.
Really!

1. GBT is working hard TO PAY EVERYONE BACK!
Why screw over a company that has saved everyone´s ass!
So dumb.

2. They have nothing to do with the previous management!
It´s a new company running things, obviously scrutinized by the whole world and their governments.
Therefore.... it will be WAY safer than ANY other site which does not fall under this scrutiny.
I repeat.... it will be WAY safer than ANY other site which does not fall under this scrutiny.

I could go on and on....

I just hate these kinds of simplistic emotional statements based on absolutely nothing in real terms.
Why ? Why make them?

Real tired of reading this type of baseless stuff.

I guess you were the target this time.

People are posting this stuff ALL the time without thinking, and once in a while......
I react. Blink

That´s all. Nothing more to it.
This post was aimed at everyone saying things about a company that is trying to rectify a disaster for 100.000´s of people, and I personally appreciate it! (even if they are going to make Millions a day once they are running).

Most sites that go down stay down, and everybody loses except the SOB´s who stole the money.
This time, it might be rectified by a company that is willing to do so.
Thumbs Up

Why break them down?
Would be nice if ALL scams were covered by someone to give the "plain guy" his money back.
My thoughts on this, so sometimes I will react and hope that people actually "think" about it.
 kinogomes29/03/2012 09:44:55 GMT
I think we will end the year getting news like this one every month. Its passing too much time for the fulltilt deal getting done. Since the pros retained the players money with them iam not sure if the site will open again soon.
 vlplastika29/03/2012 10:19:06 GMT
people will be satisfied when the poker room will open and disbursements will be made to players. a statement that we will soon open our hearts may be delayed per month. I'm waiting for the opening to make a deposit and continue to play in this room. Smile

That's perfect! So FullTilt had the best Poker school from all pokerrooms on my opinion. And you might study poker and earn the gifts. I'll be waiting FullTilt ressurection))
