The eGaming Review awards took place two days ago at the Honourable Artillery Company gardens in London with more than 700 industry professionals from the world's leading online gaming firms attending.
PokerStars and Full Tilt, owned by Amaya Inc, were among the finalists in the following categories: Operator of the Year - Amaya, Poker Operator - Full Tilt, Socially Responsible Operator - Amaya, Customer Service Operator - Amaya, Mobile poker product - Full Tilt, Mobile poker product - PokerStars. At the end of the night, PokerStars had won the ‘Poker Operator of the Year' award for the second consecutive year!
"Winning the ‘Poker Operator of the Year' award is a strong endorsement of our poker offering and a testament to the engaged and passionate PokerStars employees who dedicate themselves to delivering a high-quality, safe, and secure online poker experience," said Eric Hollreiser, Vice President of Corporate Communications for Amaya. "We're working hard to grow and build poker to ensure that we earn this award every year."
so fcukin cool: socially responsible gambling company... do they sponsor great white panda's with the degenerated gamblers money? overall no doubt that pokerstars should get poker operator of the year prize, since it has probably 60-70% of market share...
Can't really say this comes as a surprise as it is all there at pokerstars.Personally I like some of the smaller sites where the tournaments are not filled with thousands of players and you also get to know the reg players.
What a surprise. There is just no longer any serious competition for Stars. FT folded a long time ago, and Party is in the process of being ripped appart, if the whole bwin/Party company is being sold.

Very not surprising indeed. I don't get how that's news lol. Pokerstars must have like 80% of the players playing on their site... Unless there's some chinese poker sites we don't know about with millions of users which I doubt
Shokaku, big companies sell and buy eachother all the time, that doesn't mean Partypoker is going down. But it seems they're trying to get people to deposit a lot (especialll during pokerfest) so u might be right.
Normally was Stars every Year the Poker Operator of the Year, they have the best software, the most various game offer and the most player. But last Year they have no new features, why they have won especially in 2016? Otherwise, which room was better...
