well i still have some points left from the legendary "the riddle" promotion, so i might use them to buy myself into some cheaper tourney or satellite if i find a spare minute and motivation. best of wishes for all the mobbits who will take part in powerfest- hope to see a forum reg taking down a tourney or two.

I simply cannot believe that May and the Powerfest is with us already... Ok maybe not already, but it will be tomorrow... Which is in about 43 minutes time...... Unless of course you are in Australia or anywhere in Europe other than UK or Ireland, in which case it's already tomorrow and of course May.

I wish you all good luck in the forthcoming Powerfest.

I have never tried to play the Powerfest and again this year i won't be able to play because i made a cash out on Party Poker and my BR is at is lowest.

However if i have enough luck to make aa little bit of money in the daily freeroll or the Sunday one then i would probably give it a shot. Sad Sad

Yeah, party have some mobbits for sure, only question is how big of a turnout this promo will generate. More of them participate, more will have chance to get something meaningful at the end...

$7.8M Guaranteed Powerfest Begins This Sunday
Every poker room has its own series.
Every few weeks there is one starting somewhere.
This is very good for players with big bankrolls that want to "tour" the circuit but does not want to spend money on hotel accommodation and travelling.
They can easily make a career out of grinding all these series.
Hopefully someday i get the bankroll to join the grind.

I got the powa!

Like Tropical says: this is very nice for people with bankrolls. I got the exact same problem as you, cashed out and no dollars for the big ones, O well , maybe we have to find some nice satellite.

btw the BRM freeroll is very hard, lately I just push all in with a decent/moderate hand and then I double triple up, then before the bubble I lose with kings or aces from a straight/flush. A well I will win the one on MOnday, I hope
