Prior to the $60 million guaranteed Powerfest scheduled next month, partypoker have just rolled out their latest software update that includes a new and improved table.
On Wednesday, partypoker players woke up to a new and significantly improved table, which is much more responsive and customisable.
New features include:
- Improved, bigger table design
- New backgrounds/felts
- Bigger fonts
- New player plates
- Customisable table colors
- Optimized player notes
- Improved time bank
- Improved bet slider
The software update also features a good number of back-end fixes that should satisfactorily eliminate ongoing issues for some players.
This is the latest in a series of recent updates and it comes shortly before their biggest-ever Powerfest scheduled next month, which features $60 million in guaranteed prize pools.
As of this time the update is only available for Windows users. Mac owners will just have to settle for the old software for now.
Other important updates made for both PC and Mac include:
- Register for up to 12 ‘Sit & Go Jackpot' games at the same time
- MTT custom buy-in range (allows players to filter MTTs by buy-in)
- Showdown on checkdown (when a hand is ‘checked around' on the river)
- ‘Mix-Max' poker, to be first introduced during Powerfest
Other improved changes players will notice would be that in every new game deal, the cards will be fanned out simultaneously rather than in sequence.
partypoker Head of Product Ross McQuater said, "This latest software update reflects our ongoing drive to improve our core poker product. We hope players love the new table designs and enjoy a smoother, more optimised playing experience thanks to various technical improvements. Look out for more exciting software enhancements over the coming weeks and months."
