partypoker is happy to announce the comeback of their weekly $1M GTD ‘partypoker MILLION' tournament after a 13-year hiatus.
The revised format will enable players to enter multiple Day 1 flights, which are traditional freezeouts but with the option to re-enter into subsequent Day 1s. Day 1 flights function as ‘best stack forward' tourneys that allow players to carry their biggest stack forward to the final day.
For the first upcoming event, three separate Day 1s are scheduled to take place at 20:00 GMT on Sunday October 27, Tuesday October 29 and Thursday October 31, with a final Day 1 slated for 15:00 GMT on Sunday November 3. Day 1D leads directly into the Final Day that starts at 19:00 GMT, meaning players can technically compete in a single tournament if they wish.
Listening to constructive feedback from its players, partypoker has designed the structure specially to bring about finish times considerate of players with work or other early morning commitments, aiming to see the event close out at around 02:00 GMT on the Monday.

Alongside the partypoker MILLION, partypoker will also be running $22 buy-in ‘Mini' and $2.20 buy-in ‘Micro' versions of the main event, guaranteeing $200,000 and $20,000 in prize money respectively. These tournaments will run across the same days to offer players of all bankrolls a piece of the action.
