- Events: 12 Championship events (including 5 Champions Club status events)

Two massive leaderboards run throughout the WPT World Online Championships and promise to award $100,000! You can compete for prizes on both leaderboards: the WPT Player of the Championship and WPT Rising Star.
WPT Rising Star
If you can't play or satellite into the $300+ buy-in WPT World Online Championships tournaments, don't worry because partypoker has thoughtfully created a second leaderboard for lower stakes grinders.
WPT Rising Star leaderboard guarantees $25,000 across 10 paid places, with $10,000 reserved for the top winner.
To earn leaderboard points, simply compete in any WPT World Online Championships tournament with a buy-in of $300 or less.
Points will be awarded based on your position, buy-in, and the number of entrants. You will only earn points if you finish in the money!
Only your 10 best ‘scores' will count towards the leaderboard, so even if you can't play dozens of tournaments, you can still win big!
Every player has a shot at winning additional prize money...and the top winner will also be forever known as online poker's first ever WPT Rising Star!

Replicate an Authentic Live Poker Experience
The WPT World Online Championships is designed to replicate an authentic live poker experience. How? All the real names of players will be used at the tables and there will be a max of two Day 1s for the 12 championship events in the series, with a max of 1 re-entry allowed. All championship event winners will be entered into the exclusive WPT Champions Club.
