 Between the 8th and 22nd of May, Poker Stars is hosting their annual Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). This year, there will be 38 events and a guaranteed prize pool of $45,000,000. All 38 events are available in three different levels - Low, Medium and High. The buy-ins range from $5.50 for the "Low level" No Limit Hold'em 6-Max, Rebuys to $25,500 for the "High level" No Limit Hold'em Heads-up Match Play.
You will also find a wide range of different poker games such as Hold’em, Omaha, Stud and mixed games like HORSE and 8-Game.
There will also be a leaderboard where players that cashin on any of the 38 events will earn points depending on their placement in the event (100 points for 1st placement etc). The top three of the leaderboard will get generous prizes:
1st - Player of the Series trophy, 2011 WCOOP Main Event ticket, 2012 PCA prize package, EPT Grand Final prize package and a Special Edition PokerStars chip set
2nd -2011 WCOOP Main Event ticket, 2012 PCA prize package and a Special Edition PokerStars chip set.
3rd - 2011 WCOOP Main Event ticket and a Special Edition PokerStars chip set.
There are many ways to satellite your way into any of the 38 SCOOP events. The satellites will start on the 16th of March. You will find satellites for as little as $0.25.
