A woman has recently been charged with second-degree robbery after police stated she helped someone to rob a man that she had met at the Yakama Legends Casino in Washington. Esperanza Raquel Perales, age 28, was charged in Yakima County Superior Court last Wednesday, November 30.
The Yakima County sheriff's deputies stated Ms. Perales met a man at the casino and asked him to take her to El Corral Motel in the early hours of November 21. As soon as they were in a room, two masked men entered and attacked the man, demanding his winnings gained from the casino.
The suspects took the man's wallet and even his car.
The victim told detectives he believed Ms. Perales lured him into the motel because she knew he had won at the casino, which one of the robbers had specifically demanded when he was attacked.
Currently, she is being held in the Yakima County jail in lieu of $30K bail.
She is scheduled to be arraigned on the charge on December 12.
