I can't afford that kind of money and it doesn't seem good value at the low limits I play. There is plenty of information on the Internet. I'll see how I go with that At the moment I'm holding my own. So far so good.

Wow alot of people here need to learn alot, saying coaching is worthless and you will find ur own leaks.Believe me it's better for those guys who say that to quit poker now, cause u never make it...

Its so important to learn as much as possible. Without that, i wouldnt be able to beat the higher limits, cause you need so much skills for that. And the best way is to learn from other and better players. I know a real good pokerschool with free coachings, videos, software and so on. But i dont want to spam here. If anybody will get the link, send me a message.

And now: I will play poker! Cool Dollar

unfortunetly it isnt possible to send a message to another member,hmm.. Confused
A other possibilty is: go to myspace and search for "50outs" from PokerGuru

No ive never used it but i think i would if i had the time or need to use it .
I look at it as if i would buy a good poker book or two then i would spend that same amount of money ( roughly) so why not
If you think you can get someting out of it then it must be worth every penny surely??? Big Smile
but what could they train you to do that you couldn't do for your self if you read some kind of stratergy book or just had the inclenition to work it out???
If you have a good or even reasonable grasp of the game all you would need is the time and place to put it in to action Tongue
SOunds right to me............... Confused Agree

I believe poker training is something every poker player in the beggining of his professional carreer should pass through. Even though the last decision is always from the player, geting to know statistics, ways of playing certain hands, the right ways to act before and at preflop, are very important data to get success in the game! Its just bad its too expensive... but first lessons are free and easy to find on the net! Blink

Actually it won't be bad if i can get some techniques for poker. May be it the training can help someway and only if it is free or very cheap. Agree

Just think that online pokerschools are really good.
I never considered of having one of these expensive lessons.
Therefore, just play^^ thats the best training.

I know a lot of pro players that said they will teach for free, you just have to play them headsup lol. I would never pay to be taught unless it was a good deal Big Smile..I have like 200 poker videos I downloaded from some sites and card player gives 2 free full length videos every week so I have a lot of videos to watch first!

Seems to me 30$ every month is too expensive, expecially for low limit players like me
Maybe Doomdy is a hidden pro or he's simply rich Big Smile Big Smile

$30 a month is a lot..can't you get a 1-2 week trial and just download all the videos?

I think its probably usefull when you play 100NL and higher. At those levels the competition is better and plugging the leaks in your game can have a big influence on your proffits.
I never used it but i never played higher than 25NL Smile

buy a good book, and you will now all, then practice, and the key here is discipline.

For me its not a lot only $30 a month for great instr vids every day updated from very good pros.
I see it as an investment, to move up in limits in the future, if i can be a winning player on higher stakes $30 a month is peanuts Smile

doomdy, I don't know. If you play highstakes then I think $30 memberships is okay but there are lots of good free instructional video sites such as pokertrikz.com for low-mid stakes.
