The Russian poker community has lost one of its greatest players as poker pro Nikolay Evdakov passed away on Monday this week. He died at the age of only 47 and no reason to his sudden death has been given.

Nikolay Evdakov goes away but he leaves a difficult task for all pros and everyone who wants to try: a record to beat! Cashing in 10 events during a WSOP is no easy job. I never heard of him before, but he sure should play quite well to do something like this. He had to be very good in more than one type of poker. Imagine: the biggest win during 2008 WSOP for him was $10,000, but adding this to all others wins, it must have been a great season for him after this. Lets see if someone beats this record this year. But he was too young. Unknown causes is terrible...
