well i got another win tonight i was playing in the dollar dazzler and i manged to bink it,187 entries and lucky me won it. i nearly missed it too,i just got in at the last break where you could also add-on so for $2.10 i had 7,000 chips and i was in 114/141 left. after about an hour i was in 22 place out of 41 with the top 20 getting paid.another half hour or so and i had made the pay out of min $6 yaay. i was getting crap at this time so i was just folding away until the ft came up and i didn't even know (i was looking but missed the last couple of bust outs). anyway ft and i'm in 9th place with 30,000 chips, leader's got 369,000 all i was trying to do was ladder up a few places, you know. i get a-7 off on the button so i ship them bb calls with k-k and i think well thats me.no not yet said the cards and reel of 4 spades to go with my ace spades, wow. i've now got 63,000 and in 4th place so i sit tight for a round 2 people bust out and i'm in 4/6 i figure i could have a chance here and i get a-k spades(blinds are 5/10,000 by this time) in the sb so i raise x3, half my stack bb goes all in and i call,he's got a-6 off i hold and i've now got about 146,000 and 3/5 ,well 2 more bust outs and we're down to the last 3.with me in 3rd.(i busted 1)
leader 640,000
2nd 420,000 me 240,000 all approx
i double up against the big stack a-j vs q-10 me with the ace. then he takes all the middle stack and we're heads up, so with the pay-out at $ i80 and $ 120 i know i'm getting at least $ 120 i figure just go for it and i start to raise everything he keeps folding i thought he wasn't there any way he was, i actually get the lead because of his folding and i said to myself "just keep doing it" . so with me having him covered comes the last hand i know i probably shouldn;t have done this but he was folding a lot. i've got k-6 clubs and i raise x3 and he insta ships them, so i said this is my chance to win and i call hm he's got 6-6 oh well i need a king, flop nothing, turn nothing and then it comes a lovely king on the river and the tourneys mine and not forgetting the $ 180,woo hoo.
hope i didn't bore you all with that, oh and i forgot to say i also won this last week but didn't post it as i was a bit busy,i got $ 140 that time, not bad eh.
cant upload the file as it's in a doc format and it wont let me.

Grats to you, very well done. Its always nice to win a tourney, but doing it this way was a very good job (together with some luck for sure). Keep it going like this...

@ doomdy,aye it's on the merge network,194 players in it that time.usually over 200.
@ battle 87,got them in pre flop mate.
thanks everyone, aye i had a bit of luck along the way as you usually do when going deep in a tourney your right Chartoule my bankroll management needs working on as i enter too many silly tourneys just to get the practice.
i also had a 2nd place in the same tourney for $130 couple of weeks back so i'm beginning to like this one ,lol

well played - you always need some luck, so don't get too hung up on marginal calls unless they could have seriously dented or ended your chance of winning.
The comment about entering silly priced tournaments outwside of your bankroll is crucial to me - it cannot be reiterated enough that you have to play within your limits.
If your BR is $100 one pop at a $5 tournament is about acceptable but prefereably take the odd pop when you have 30+ buyins and have a little 'wiggle room' and feel you are playing , and feeling well.
don't underestimate low-dollar buyins - they will be your bread and butter until you can reasonably afford bigger tournaments. You've done great so far by the sounds of things, so keep the discipline, keep playing $1 buyins with small fields and build a roll.
Read too - I recommend buying actual books as well as any online content.

@noonlion. aye thanks i've cut down on the tourneys the last couple of nights as i said i was only treating them as practice and i suppose thats not really the way to go about it. recommend any good books? i'll give one a try if you do,thnx.
@serpang
we all get upset and/or angry at times but i dont see the need to call other players names as a lot of them do. hopefully we'll meet on the tables one night

Very nice story. Sometimes we are just in a hurry and prefer to read what the site gives us (faster), but it’s lovely to read such a beautiful story like yours. This is the right size for it. You didn’t got too long in any detail, and you always kept the atention of the reader because it gets each time more interesting. Nice victory, and in the end you did well, if you were already with a big advantage, there’s nothing wrong in giving a cal to na all-in with K6, after all, you have a figure in your hand, it’s a run, and you won it. Congrats! But don’t spoil all the $180 on one time.
