Could BRM set up HU Tourneys?  0
As some of you may remember, I posted a thread a wile back about a HU leaderboard ( http://www.bankrollmob.com/forum.asp?mode=thread&id... ). Well, this thread is somewhat related to that.

I was just thinking that since, from what I understand, a lot of people here on this forum wants to improve on their HU game, maybe it could be an idea for BRM to make a deal with say PartyPoker to have daily $1 buy-in HU tourneys. Maybe BRM could get a deal that says that for every person that enters that tourney, PartyPoker can take out $0,10 rake and then BRM could get maybe $0,02 out of that. Say that 100 people enter every day (and I'm sure even more would), that's $2 a day and about $60 every month. It's not much but it sure is at least better then nothing. And also this might attract more players to join the ranks here at BRM which would benefit us all.

I'm not sure exactly how to restrict this to only BRM players but I was thinking something along the lines of having to sign up somewhere here on the site (kinda similar to the leaderboard) in order to be able to play. That would prevent any password hunters from joining unless they've joined BRM first. And even so, some of those password hunders might actually find this site interesting.

Bottom line, I think this could benefit BRM and I also think that it would give us players a chance to brush up on our HU game.

What do you guys think about this? Any input at all would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping this could become a reality!

dont think any password chasers woud bother with a tourney you had to buy in to be honest.
a heads up touney can be aranged in home games on pokerstars, a few mobsters have private clubs set up for BRM players anny one of them could set a tourney up but i can tell you now theres no chance of 100 players

yeah as takingdrugs pointed out it is easy to set up hu tourney with buy in ranging $0.11-$33, any game, with any structure. look at official brm home games thread. the thing is that for whatever reasons i haven't seen a tourney of any sort to have more than 9 players Sad maybe with heads up we can improve on that. open ti suggestions.
Who would want one?

Well, I know you can easily set it up yourself but my idea was really something that might benefit BRM. If they could get a deal and have daily HU tournaments where they get a little money from the rake, I think that would be good. And if they aim on getting that set up on more then one site, it could be even better.

So yeah, setting up a game yourself is easy and all that, but not really what I had in mind since BRM don't really get anything out of it.

I dont think BRM would be involved in such a move.
Extra work and they already have plenty to do.
Setting up games is easy in most of the platforms, so all is needed is a time
arrangement with members in here.
Or opening a table and waiting for a BRM member to sit down Smile

Maybe the idea is good but i do not think that bankrollmob will get involved in this....

There is way too much work to be done and simply they don't have the men power to do it.
