International Stadiums Poker Tour has claimed never to have guaranteed their prize pool. Last month, the Partouche Poker Tour was dramatically cancelled after the organisers tried to renege on their €5 million guarantee. Patrick Partouche claimed that the tour never guaranteed the prize pool. The much-criticised event has already gone from a $30 million guarantee to a €20 million guarantee, then to no guarantee, finally to claiming the guarantee was for the entire festival and not just the Main Event. It is worth noting that the Partouche Poker Tour is involved in organising the ISPT. Clearly they have the same spin doctor working for them who is a fan of the "pretend it never happened" strategy of dealing with problems.

If you are a big money player, i guess this one tournament you have to avoid participating. Either it is guaranteed, or its not. You cant start stating this at first and then changing it. Probably they are not familiar with the meaning of the word "guaranteed"

They probably use the same dictionary that ISPs use to get their definition of 'unlimited'.
