played a $10,000 freeroll, out of 1250 people 1-9 got a $530 ticket for high roller $100k GTD 10-34 got $215 ticket for 200K GTD ...i was sitting 1st a good way through it and i had to go out
well i left when around 110 people left, left with a chip count of around 100K, (was a family thing so was ripped between a $530 ticket or $215) so i left and just posted and folded and come back and got a $215 ticket to the $200K GTD
so thanks partypoker and good position to leave myself in but think i could really have made the $530 ticket
but getting a ticket is better than getting nothing

Grats on the $215 ticket and I wouldn't really worry about missing out on the other one, sure it's worth a bit more.. But as it is you safely folded your way into a $215 ticket and for all you know if you were actually playing you may have busted out well before 34th.. Sure, you were chip leader, but it doesn't take much for that to change once the blinds start going up, lose one big allin (KK vs AA) and you can go from 1st to last in a single hand.

Congratulations to you for getting that ticket! And as jess said, don't worry about the other ticket. S**t happens and you might have.endef up with nothing.
You said it was a freeroll. Just curious as to what the requirements to play it was given that the prizes was so big. I actually haven't logged on to party for about 5 days now so I might just have missed it.

great one- nice work, yeah a bit sad that you didn't have a chance to get your hands on the bigger one, but hey $215 ticket doesn't lie on every corner as well good luck in the tourney, sure hope this time no one will get in your way and you will show that brm members are a tough nut to crack at the tables

It ended up good for you. You could have finished in a better position if you were able to play the whole tournament, but it could have turned out worst gl with your ticket wishing you a final table

thanks, i wasnt going to play tonight as not very well ( have manflu ) but decided to anyways
out of 1076 there are 645 remaining and i'm sitting at 134..
150 get paid prize pool is $215,200 so i'm hoping for a good cash
will keep BRMers updated
------------ bad news bust out in 295th place....3 allins 3 times in a row with 3 callers so i folded my hand to protect myself and 3 times i would have won and been sitting chip leader
pocket 5s ran into A6 and villain played like a muppet whole way through and called wi A 6 needless to say he hit a house
for such a big buyin tourney there were certainly a lot of donks in it, felt like i was playing on micro tables

You did well grahamy27. We all know what's the value of family, but it always seems that those reunions always happen when we are doing good at the game If we think better about that, perhaps some of us should try to arrange family meetings when having important online games to play. This way, one could see if the pressure of almost being reaching the time to go to the event would have something to do with our performance at the game. I bet it does, and for good.

thanks mobsters, bit gutted i didnt make the money but it was a learning experience and i think i played my game fine my only downfall was trying to protect myself and survive until the money, as when people were going allin and being called by 2 or 3 others each time i folded with a hand i would normally play and the 3 times this happened to me i would have won, which in hindsight is a bit gutting but i thought i was doing the right thing at the time
but hopefully i will get another chance to play again
