Zoom tournaments coming  0
Zoom enthusiasts could be smiling in the next few months as it appears PokerStars PS are preparing to launch Zoom tournaments.

While there has been no official announcement from anyone at the company, a new lobby filter suggests the games might not be far away.

Players who log on to the site can now find a filter option for "zoom" under the tournament filter tab.

Having proved popular on Full Tilt in the past, fast-fold tournaments could be yet another advantage PokerStars holds over its rivals in the online poker market.

This may have more fans than than the zoom cash games, at a first sight it seems to me that it may be cheaper to play than the other mode, and increasing the chances of winning, because the prizes will be higher, turn it more atractive. Or will we have to register for more tourneys? This way, the cost may upgrade more than the chance to get to the paid places. I think it's better to wait to see what will come out instead of conjecture about how will it be. Confused

this is the thing that pokestars really lacked imo- zoom mtt's. especially if stars offer zoom mtt's ranging from low buyins to the decent ones i think they will be a hit- there are lots of players who just lack action in regular mtt's and they "create" action fro themselves by playing -ev, eagerly waiting

If they make zoom tournaments, probably it will be a big hit.
With the number of players they have, all those looking for an easy fast win, probably
will flood the tables.
Zoom rake for them

They had to this this even if they bought full tilt poker and there are already zoom tournaments...

If you ask me they'll do this for players that like to play on pokerstars and do not want to switch even if both poker sites will be own by the same company.

I know RUSH poker was a big thing when FulTilt was around and hopefully it will be back when they start back up. I always enjoyed the fast play and only playing the very best of hands seemed to be the way to go. It was difficult for donks to survive through the RUSH tournaments due to most players only playing their best hands. Don't like a hand fold and move on. Very fast and fun!

I like these tourneys, played several of them on FTP in the past.

Now I play on terminal poker --> only fast poker there (cash games & torneys)

They also offer a 75 euro freeroll every day and a 300 euro freeroll on Sundays (for the 75 euro you have to play 10 raked hands 10 24 hours and for the 300 euro 100 raked hands in teh last week)
They also offer several 5 euro freerolls

Another advantage is that ther snot so many traffic there, only 300 to 400 players for the freeroll on Sunday, during the week less players.

For the 5 euro freerolls about 150 players--> in my oppinion not worth playing.

Full tilt didnt use to have rush poker tournaments.
So either they add this to PS or not doesnt really matter, since the ones who like
to play such tournaments will have the option, of transferring to FT if they arent already members

Yea i know i kinda messed up the post.
I was meant to put a ? at the end of the first sentence, and it would have been like this :

It can be seen from the rest of that post, what i was trying to say, but yes, my mistake Smile

Have you looked at the terms and conditions of the BOOOOOOOOM promo? They may as well say that you have to have your great grandparents grand parents sitting in the same room before you can claim a win on the promo.
