A new year has produced a new rant from an ever-changing Daniel Negreanu.
Starting his video with a quick bicep flex, Daniel takes some time to enlighten us about his main goal for 2013: to make the poker world a better place.
Wanting the poker industry to be cast in a "better light than in 2012 and 2011", he is extending his support to those who've done wrong in the past (unless your name is Howard Lederer).
Admitting that a positive personal life can lead to positive results at the poker table, it's clear that in 2013 Daniel wants to face the game with a smile.

When i first read the title i thought negreanu would have a goal for 2013 something like winning some big big events etc , but when i read i was amused to see some great words from him !! he is humble and his goal of creating poker would for a better place is really good !! hope he succeed his goals

The better way was it to do it and not spesk about that. But perhaps he had a better feeling to speak in the public. But it is ok and i wish him a lot of goals.

Well I think that is a GREAT goal for Daniel to have as well as winning some large money tournaments. I personally support anyone who's efforts are intended to help improve the image of poker in general. I like that my favorite player is working of this idea. Be cool and luck too us all in 2013.

I guess it’s easy to realizes that Daniel is talking about all of those poker rooms that closed the doors and also and specifically about FTP when he says he wants to make the poker world a better place. On one side, he defends the diversity of companies to keep the market working as one, and on the other side he doesn’t want to keep seeing big poker industry names involved in scandals, which would limit the idea that many non-poker players have that this game/industry is all about cheating others. I’m with him. It won’t be easy, but if everyone of us makes his part, it can be a nice step forward.

A couple of members here follow what Negreanu does and say in regular basis, it seems
Nothing more he can do for this. Either he speaks or not, its not up to him, but all the persons included in the poker world. So in my opinion what he said, was another attempt for some more attention

LOL well you go Amigo. I try to remember he is a celeberty player. I do not remember who said it about the famous but the only worse then them talking about ya is if they are not talking about you.
Danial is great at keeping himself in the public view which keeps his sponsors coming back which keeps him making money. Its all about the cash.

The more I read about the statements, comments or rants Negreanu makes the more I'm liking this guy. I think he speaks with integrity and the things he says are interesting and the things jhe says about some people or incidences are truthful.
I actually in the past, didn't really care orpay much attention to him, but this guy speaks with wisdom. I really can't get over how well spoken he's became in the past couple years.
I enjoy the rants and the logic. Hope he does well on the tables this year!
