Okey, I think I'm starting to get a hang of these DoN's so I thought I'd try to play 100 of them in the next couple of days. Let's see how I do! And since this was a last minute idea before I go to bed I'll only play 3 today.
Day 1 Starting bankroll: $50
Played: 3 Won: 1 Lost: 2
Profit: -$0,60
Closing bankroll: $49,40
Comment: First one I lost I was dealt KK, flop gave me a K, guy goes all-in, I call, he turns over AA. River gives him his set and I'm out. Second one I lost I was AQs, flop was AQ3, I bet, he calls. Turn is 8, I bet, he raise me all-in, I call. He flips over 88.

Why do you play DoN instead of Fifty50 ?? I've recently stuck to PokerStars SnG Fifty50, and I must tell that I'm pretty good at them
I prefer Fifty50, because in bubble players still battling because they want win much! On DoN bubble players only play to survive and make ante kill shorstack... It's pretty harder IMO, so I prefer Fifty50

Those were two bad ways of loosing, i guess you did well in not playing more than you have defined at the begining. Defining objectives for ourselves must be very good, besides playing for the fun and for trying to win some money, at least we can define a rule to see how it goes during a certain period. GL

well i'm sure of one thing- with your $50 roll you will be able to play 100 $0.50 dons for sure...now how you'll do on them is a different thing, will be nice to see your end result, just to have a clue whether these games are worth looking at..anyways gl with your journey- keep us updated

Not trying to be an arse here but is it really worth playing these? personally I can't justify spending time playing games where your not even going to get double your buy-in back (fee's) I'd much rather play normal SnG's. But if you like playing them then that's all that matters i guess.

If you have a solid strategy (Tight is right in this format) they are easy to play and to multitable (if there is enough traffic) and very useful to clear bonuses.
I had fun playing them and built up my online roll with dons when started playing poker: either with winnings and vipsystem/rakeback/bonuses. Now find them boring and I think it's not real poker
Just watch out for collusion: easy to realize and quite frequent in DONs

Different strokes for different folks! Some people enjoy the the DoN's other like regular tournaments and some prefer cash games. As long as the player is having fun it's all cool. If they care about their level of play they will improve and become winning players even better for them whatever they like to play.

The second day was equal to the first one, you’re moving ahead on a basis of 66% games won and 33% games loss each day you play, it’s not bad at all. If you’re able to keep it that way you’re going to get far and give a nice boost to your bankroll, but perhaps it’s better to think about playing more than 100 (like you defined at the beginning of the thread). I know than can work as a sample of your work at the tables, but it will be a very little one, taking in consideration you’re able to play a lot of them per day (if in a day you played 27, you’ll play 100 in four days). You won’t be able to use this data when realizing about your monthly results!

Keep it going like this... I also play them from time to time and I guess I should also start such a project. The only problem on this microstakes is the amount of rake I think. Sometimes its up to 20 % I guess.

Yeah well, this is the first time I actually try to keep track of how it goes. I thought 100 would be a decent start at least to give me some idea.
------------ I had a decent day today. I managed to squeeze in a few of these games even tho it's Valentines.
I think the DoN's are a good way to get into the habit of playing tight and thinking about pot management. Most players play far too loose so learning how to succeed at these can help someone on their way to becoming a much better poker player in general.

You just might be right on this issue. I know a few people who use them to rebuild their bankrolls back up every time they drop below a certain level. I am not one of them but perhaps I should be. You know how it is there is always more to learn. Be cool amigo good luck at the tables.

So you play at party. just wondering how you do there over all. I have a friend who cashes out about 1K each month from Stars who can not seem to win a hand on Party. He is always telling me to avoid the site but there does seem to be some people winning there.
