Good luck to them all!

I think JC Tran has a massive chance here. One of the most aggressive players on the circuit with a huge chip stack. I think he's really got a chance of taking this one day. He's already won 2 WSOP bracelets, but this would be the icing on the cake.

Delighted to see JC Tran on the final table ... and the big stack ... looked yesterday and he was down to around 1.5 mill so must have had a great day after ... have seen him play on wsop programs shown on the telly so its nice to see a face i recognise in the final 9

Several big names fell on the penultimate day of the Main Event before the break, including last year's October Niner Steven Gee, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Sergio Castelluccio and former Main Event champion Carlos Mortensen was the bubble boy.
Everyone remaining is guaranteed at least $733,224, but when they return in November all eyes will be on the title and first prize of $8,359,531.

It's amazing how things change so fast on these last parts of tournaments, i mean the chipleader from the last 27 is no longer present at the final table lol

Anyways it should be a really interesting final table, also i have to note how David managed to be at the final table even he had the smallest stack.

When the blinds and ante are so big, luck is a major factor in winning a a better position in the chips count. It took ten full days of play for the field of 6,352 players to reduce itself to the final table

have to agree with post somewhere above- JC Tranny really seems to have had an epic heater, last update i saw him somewhere near the end, and look where did he finish once the final table is set.
i must admit i don't like the format where final table is being played some time in the future- very odd when you are used to online poker

They should look into changing this format from next year onwards. Having to wait 3 months to find out who wins the thing is not the way to go. Should go back to playing it all with maybe a one day break instead
