Hey a couple more questions regarding BRM X-mas Home Game 2013  +1
we have settled for the date (dec 21st @20.00 gmt), i will keep tested starting chips stack (3000) and blinds (10 min), what i wanna ask you all is buy-in and rebuy/addons i suggest $0.25 BI and 2 rebuys/1 add-on. here is my reasoning- i don't think we should go for any higher BI since there are mobsters who maybe have no spare cash atm...while ).25 can be earned from freerolls in the meantime. rebuys/addon is for beefing up the prize-pool and as an insurance policy that u at least will not be knocked out in the 1st hour...those home games are kinda fun, great people- i think it would be a pity to leave after a couple of hands (with your AA's falling against my 26o)...

as always community decision is final.

only one question regarding the rebuys....can one rebuy at 3000 chips or less or when ones stack is 0 chips? Other than this ?...good to go Smile

just checked- one can only rebuy when out of chips. also single rebuy at a time (no double rebuy at once). rebuys last for 1 hour.

I also think 2 rebuys and one add on is better than the other options but frankly i would opt for the 50 cent buy in.

I opted for the higher buy in because in the end it would be good if we had a nice prize pool Blink

Now there's a thought..... maybe you could consider a mix between buy in and rebuy cost. Either, 50c buy in and 25c add on when you are at 0, or 25c buy in and 50c re buy. (probably the first is the best suggestion)

May be the math from last years tourney would assist in terms of how much you madfe from buy in and how much from re buy/add on.

Either way, I dont know which voting selection o check cos Im not sure where my preference lies other than what I have just said.

Incidentally, 20GMT on 21.12 is looking good for me at the moment!

Well I would like to play this game as a freezeout one and at $1 buy in level but I know that some and mostly people here will not afford it and we'll not get a good turnout... so I went for $0.50- 2 rebuys/1 add-on and I like the idea of having a chance to rebuy if you busto very early with AA Big Smile

well we have a serious battle on our hands here, three options are fighting it out for the glory: $0 freezout (not recommended), $0.25 & $0.50 BI with 2 rebuys/ 1 add-on (both very recommended). lets give a few more days and we will call it a day. then i will open the "official" thread and we can start the flood of donations Tongue

Anything but a $0 freezeout. Don't want to be an ass about it but I'd really have to reconsider donating if it's a free roll. If there's a buy in, however small, I'll definitely be donating.

Thumbs Up.....can't agree more...don't care what the BI is as long as there is one.

ok it's down to 2 options...now all we need is at least another vote on one of them and we can call it a day...come on dudes and dudettes give your "decisive" vote either for "$0.25 2 rebuys/1 addon" or $0.50 2 rebuys/1 addon" and i can launch the "official" thread for this epic home game Big Smile

As a forum regular I vote for $0.50 and you know that this vote is an important one no doubt about that... and as I said this game should have been a $1 freezeout like last year??? (I don't remember what it was) as I did not play in last year's game...

honestly...i don't remember either, but i think the lower the BI, the more brm'ers can afford the game...and in the end it's a tourney to enjoy and not to make a killing imo...regarding rebuys/addon- i told this already, but i can repeat it one more time- i think it would be a real shame to wait for this tourney for a moth or so and then get knocked out in the first few hands...also the rebuy period lets some people come into tourney an hour late, do a rebuy + addon and be right in the action...

G'day mates

Well pochui,
I am going to do everything I can do, to actually play in the BRM Xmas tournament.
I have been so concerned about not being healthy enough to take part, that I arranged some personal support workers to help get me strong, and happy enough to play in the tournament.
The personal support staff also plan on railing me live in my new apartment during the event, just to make sure I remain well medically. Here are a few pics of my medical support team.
best wishes to everyone
be cool

I want to be clear about the rebuy and addons .
IF YOU HAVE BALLS TO GO ALL IN GO , BUT DONT COME WITH YOUR MONEY TO RUIN THE FREEROLL , ITS FREEROLL NOT 1000$ GTD + rebuy , im pissed off players with TONS OF Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar Going all in and rebuy , after 3-4 rebuys he have chips like you and with another all in you are out.

G'day mate

The BRM Xmas tournament is NOT a freeroll.
It has an entry fee and will allow 1 rebuy/add-on.
If it was a freeroll I would not even bother wasting my time to even play in the tournament.
That said I agree with you that freeroll morons with more money then brains tick me off too.
best of luck at the tables
be cool
