True gambler or desperate looser? I dont mean to hurt your friend feelings, but he is the type who just 'get back up and do it again' - hes every casinos, bookmakers and betting sites wet dream. I had some up and downswings myself (altough according my calculation I have a decent ROI on betting), but I have no problem to stop on all summer long or whenever there isnt a good offer that day or week. But I root for you to get you money someday.

This guy might be a gambler but i think he might be a bit of an idiot too. He should have cashed out a fair bit and start again. Whenever you win, you should buy yourself something out of the winnings and at least have something to show for it

its one of those guys that even if they win big, they will lose bigger :/
for people like that (i have a few friends who are avid gamblers too) i dont think its about winning money at all, more about that thrill you get while playing/gambling/whaver.
Something in lines of... its a journey, not a destination that matters :=)

Not bad at all, realizing the bet he did through you got good results for you and he even paid you instantly instead of spending your profits together with all his investment. But judging by the amounts your friend bets, i guess you will once see your money. I'm also waiting from some (20 times less than you) good luck from a friend and i know that day will come, just don't know when!

I love this quote. It is so true that you should benefit in some way from even modest winnings, but to just keep gambling on the probable basis hat you started with nothing so I may as well walk away with nothing is somewhat foolish!

Wow congratulations mare you deserve it , you bet high and get a good feeling and you make money this is all about the fun and taking advantage of every instinct we have. Cheers that you managed to get on time , and for your friend putting money on your bet hehe. Seconds away from disappointment but no! He placed it! Cheers have fun at the tables mate and betting!
Especially on machines where you are the underdog (the machine gives back ~95% of the money you put in) when you win big, you should stand up and enjoy the money, because the machine will take the money back if you keep playing.
