These events are tremendous value with a total prize pool of forty million dollars, there is a chance that a player can win big with just a very small buy in. I hope to read about some big winners soon

Huge tournament after the wcoop and this will be a fun tournament I am thinking of playing some satellites to go to the main events and see if I can take down any event and be golden and no need to work for the rest of my life. Keep dreaming you would say but one day i'll get lucky and do it lol. Cheers have fun if you guys playing!

i think 40m is prize pool for all tourneys combined, not for just $10,3k one :o

still yea im sure its decent value, but to call it a 'very small buyin' might be a bit too much though :=)

sure it might be small for those who already won millions playing poker, but for most players (ones that arent already rich and playing poker for fun) 10k is still a bit too steep :=p

Biiiiiiiiiiiiig money. I just hate that PokerStars own pros can compete in these, totally wrong and suspect. It's a major conflict of interest like being on the board of several companies at once.

Disagree with noonlion and TB's73, the PS players are more like horse race owners they can bet on their own horse and it does not improve their own chances in any way. PS does sponsor some of these players for publication/advertisement purposes only and there is no "conflict of interest" in that relationship. I saw a bad beat to one of there pro's today Final table, (scoop 12 I think) all in pre flop, pro had AT suited vs A8 off suit 8 on the flop and pro gone. That said the pro's are pro's for a reason, they are good players, losing to them is not such a bad thing, losing to the A8 above would suck. GL all. 3P{

Lol Pokerstars Pros are just sponsored players, Pokerstars just pay the buy in and that is all, there is nothing suspicious or wrong about this.
And in return for it the players wear clothes with PS logos.
