1) since this is X-mas home game- starting date should be around x-mas... since we do our x-mas home games on Saturdays, it will stay same this year... now we 2 Saturdays to choose from: Dec 20th- saturday before x-mas & Dec 27th- saturday after x-mas (my pick)
2) starting time is something that will surely leave some mobbits disappointed, but it's probably not possible to cater for everyones taste with people coming from different continents... usually we stars ~20.00 GMT (brm time), so +- hour from that is what can be adjusted (19.00 and 21.00 GMT as the other options)
3) poll is open until the end of this month, then whatever community decides will be the starting date & time.

WOW....... It's starting to look a lot like (a) Christmas (landslide) in terms of time and date. Christmas Saturday is always going to be a tricky one and perhaps more torch than the Saturday before Christmas ........... Whenever it is it will be an event to remember.
Dunno, please raise your hand if you are somebody who won't work 'til night on the last weekend before christmas! If you raised your hand, then consider yourself THE CHAMPION OF LIFE and THE LUCKIEST BASTARD OF DECEMBER.
Of course I voted for 27th, it makes more sense to me, but nevermind - the majority wanna pokerz on a busy weekend between two mince pies.

Yeah, no. At least not in this current economy. I can change shifts though. Maybe? But I'm not keen on the idea of being obliged to somebody. It always turns out bad for me in the long run. I made it to this years BRM Easter Home Game cuz it was on actually a day before Easter. The day before Easter is busy maybe for supermarkets, butchers and moms. The weekend before X-mas is usually busy for everybody everywhere. But of course based on the polls above I'm wrong again.
I am no pochui 4 sure but I'll answer. Possible, but isn't going to happen easily or soon I guess. We tried to organize one 4 the Soccer World Cup after the Easter Home Game - very few people cared about it. It never happened.

Posted by PokerKing76: To pochui: Is it possible to have more game in 2015 at The Rigged Place?
there are two pieces of puzzle here: 1) games created 2) people playing
while i can easily influence the 1st one (and have no problems doing so), but i have no powers over the 2nd one. guess it's just demand- supply mini ecosystem in the rigged place

the winning date will probably work for me. I still voted for the second most liked choice thou.. At 8 pm I'm usually still getting drunk.. so by 9pm I've ran out of beer and therefore I have time and "focus" to play my A game ( A stands for alcoholic obviously).

well i think there is no point in keeping the poll open for any longer- preferred date is clear. 20/20 it will be! actually just created the tourney- it is just announced yet and registration not possible for another two weeks or so. see you there.
oh and chief unpinner can unpin this thread from the spotlights

well mr. bowie i hope that you will be able to make it somehow... it's x-mas you know and on x--mas magic happens, just believe it and on the eve of brm x-mas home game... x-mas fairy will visit you and fulfill one wish, just don't be a silly man and ask for an intercourse action and forget the home game 8=======D
